I have the second pick in my fantasy league. In addition it is a keeper leauge and Adrian Peterson is being retained by one of my opponenets. Who should I look to take with my, the second pick overall. Should I stay away from Stephen Jackson? Should I trust Jones-Drew?

I always desire the first or second pick and now that I got lucky I am terrified of screwing it up!!

Well, that depends on who's available, doesn't it? What other keepers are off the board?

Right exactly Bro... Jones-Drew is good but I'd be on the SERIOUS lookout for Stephen Jackson; they're going to rely on him heavily this year with their new coaches and stuff. Plus he's coming back healthier than ever and has alot to prove. A sleeper pick may be Larry Johnson but definitely not that early, just an fyi. Not sure how you feel about picking a WR early but if Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson is available, you may wanna hop on that.

as i stated A. Peterson is off the board. no other top tier RB is.

i am not picking a wide out that early. i need a RB.

I would consider Matt Forte, or Michael Turner. LT is supposedly back to health, but his best years are probably behind him.

if turner or forte are available i'd take them over chris johnson. he's good, but he'll get a lot of points taken from him as long as lindell white is running in goaline situations. I think turner is going to be a stud for years in this league.

Portis is going to break the rushing yards, total yards, rushing TDs and total TDs scored in a season records this year. He's a keeper! You heard it here first.

I'm a HUGE fan of MJD. He's not someone that you have to worry about health wise. He's does not have break away speed but the HC loves to run the ball a lot. There are a lot of people who think that he could be the #1 pick in every draft. He get's a lot of touches in the passing game too. I doubt we see him return punts or kickoffs.

If I have a #1,2, or 3 pick and he's available, I'm taking him. I've had him a few years in a row. Love the kid. Keep an eye on Thomas Jones later in the draft or even Darrin Spoiles with SD.

I agree. I would take MJD. If not, then Michael Turner, but those are really the only two guys that I would consider at this spot is Peterson is gone. Jackson is too injury prone and I'm not sold on Forte.

Forte's a good player but we all know what they say about sophomore slump.

Question for you folks.. Given the fact Buffalo's OLine looks like pure garbage, the QB is average at best, and they just fired their O Coach, would it be wise to bench T.O.? My only other option is Hines Ward or Berrian. Berrian is pretty banged up still but Hines is ready to go. I know what I'll get out of him already but Buffalo i'm more concerned with.

Who do I play? T. O. or Ward?

I think you stay with T.O. for a few more weeks. I think he will put up big numbers against the bucs.

Wait for Berrian to get well. he could be a better option come week 5 or 6.

I would play either of those before Hines Ward for now.

Trust T.O. for now
