A Hall of Fame Coach's Philosophy on Team Building

I found this gem in the article reviewing the new WJFK Talk lineup, and I was actually glad I read the article.
In it, there's a quote from Coach Gibbs about whether he looked at a player's faith as a deciding factor in personnel decisions. Gibbs said:
I find that his philosophy is a sound philosophy, and his record of achievement (including his final stint with the team), show that his coaching style flat out works.
I wish to emulate his philosophy when building teams of people, whether in church, in business, or for sport. Thanks, Coach Gibbs for sharing your principles with us.
