The banjo has to be the worst instrument ever invented.

The thing is there both pretty uncommon. I came across this song and had never heard it, I though it was alot like cripple creek, then at the end it got a little more interesting. Theres not much in the way of Redskins songs at yahoo music.
check out these two songs

Being from West Virginia and all, I have to like the banjo, And I love Hail to the Redskins, there's the original lyrics from way back in the day, the new lyrics when the team song was altered and even a banjo version lol great song!!

I'm not from an urban area or the country. I'm in between.
And in regards to that instrument, I feel like my IQ drops 20 points every time I listen to it so I avoid it at all costs.

I try not to think about it to much.

It's understandable that you feel dumb when you listen to banjo music; not everyone can grasp the nuances of syncopation.

It's funny that that track is listed under "new music," since it was released in '73.

Call it what you want but that was the first and last time I ever listen to that version of that song ever again.

Try Daddy Sang Bass by good ole Johnny Cash and ole whats her name...June Carter, that’s a tune for the ages.
My IQ has never been tested and I never witnessed steroid abuse by Sammy Sosa ...lol just a joke there.
I personally think that the theme song for the Simpson’s would sound good on a banjo, but am not truly a huge fan of the instrument. I guess it would be a little annoying after more than 10 minuted of listening.
I could imagine that it must be tough not to enjoy hail to the redskins, just because of the instrument used to compose it my condolences Jake.
