Just had to start a thread to properly say LeBron James is a god. What a shot ... I mean ... that shot just doesn't go in for Cleveland fans, trust me. I've been subjected to the pathetic sight of Craig Ehlo falling down while Jordan hits 'The Shot' more times than I can remember (quite literally). Well, that's now the old shot. THIS shot is THE shot:

I was watching this game with a fellow Cavs fan at Bailey's in Arlington, the place went nuts when he hit that shot as did I ... obviously. I will NEVER get tired of watching that replay.

Just an awesome shot...I was in shock that the Cavs were headed to FL down 2-0 then this!!! Game 3 is going to decide the series IMO... let's see if Orlando can rebound from such a devastating loss.

Everyone wants to hate on LeBron. I'm not one of his big fans, but this guy is defiantly the truth.

Basketball is not technically a sport. Even so, I think a frame-by-frame analysis of this purported 'shot' will show it to be a clear miss. The initial trajectory of the ball bears this out.
It's impossible to make that basket. Impossible.
LeBron James faked it, and should be banned for life.

I was a hater. Then we got Ovie, and I understand what its like for LeBron a bit more and so I no longer hate. I just enjoy watching greatness without the hate I used to feel for great players not on my team. I still hate Dallas and Duke though.

That was a ridiculous shot. LeBron is really amazing, and I don't get why people hate on him; it's not like he does anything to deserve it, except be good and play in Cleveland (sorry, Lord Cup).

Van Gundy looks like Ron Jeremy....

Its always that way in sports. There is always a majority of team-specific fans that will hate on great players unless they play for their team. A lot of the people that are passionate for a particular NBA team that I know hated Michael Jordan, and hate LeBron. Most of the passionate NASCAR fans I know hated Jeff Gordon or Dale Earnhart or whomever the best driver at the time was. Everyone hates T.O. when he's not on their team. People in Dallas hated him with a passion for the star incident. Then he signed there and most people loved him. Alex Ovechkin gets booed everytime he touches the puck, even though all he does is play electrifying hockey, does all the little things like hitting, passing, playing defense, blocking shots at a level no one can match in all of those areas. LeBron plays all out every play. He makes ridiculous shots and he elevates the games of those around him. I used to hate him for it. Now I just hate that he's not a Wizard.

Does anyone know what it means that a Chinese company bought 15% of the Cavs? I mean, I heard cowhead yesterday talk about how it will keep lebron from leaving the cavs because of how much is invested in the team. I didn't get to finish listening though, anyone know about that or can break it down for me?

They do. Its one of those teams that is consistently good, so they get bandwagon fans that hop on and get all up in your face, but couldn't even tell you what city Duke is in.

I've heard some off-the-wall comparisions in my time, but that one is a little tough to swallow.

If not for that lucky shot by LeBron, the Cavs would have already been eliminated from the playoffs!

Go Magic!!! :D

yeaup! lets forget that shot for a second and look at how dominant the Magic have been against the Cavs. The Cavs desperately need a legitimate big man. Not some one who couldnt even cover Howard in his prime,(zyllgauskas or what ever) or some one who is most known for his over the top flops(verajoa or what ever.)

All right Cavs, I'm really depending on you guys tonight. It's so important that I can't express it enough... You guys have really gotta lose it big time. I mean, Lebron, bless your heart, your such a great player and the Magic will not stop you. For the rest of the team, play like crap and let Orlando pull off the biggest upset of the playoffs.

GO ORLANDO!!!!

I'm shocked at how nobody mentioned how Lebron lost the previous for the Cavs with all those turnovers.
