2. St. Louis Jason Smith/OT/Baylor
3. Kansas City Aaron Curry/OLB/Wake Forest
4. Seattle Eugene Monroe/OT/Virginia
5. Cleveland Everette Brown/DE-OLB/Florida State
6. Cincinnati Brian Orakpo/DE/Texas
7. Oakland Darrius Heyward-Bey/WR/Maryland
8. Jacksonville Michael Crabtree/WR/Texas Tech
9. Green Bay Bj Raji/DT/Boston College
10. San Francisco Michael Oher/OT/Ole Miss
11. Buffalo Aaron Maybin/DE-OLB/Penn State
12. Denver Matthew Stafford/QB/Georgia
13. Washington Andre Smith/OT/Alabama
14. New Orleans Malcolm Jenkins/CB-S/Ohio State
15. Houston Brian Cushing/OLB/USC
16. San Diego Rey Maualuga/MLB/USC
17. New York Jets Jeremy Maclin/WR/Missouri
18. Denver (from Chicago) Tyson Jackson/DE/LSU
19. Tampa Bay Vontae Davis/CB/Clemson
20. Detroit (from Dallas) Peria Jerry/DT/Ole Miss
21. Philadelphia Chris Wells/RB/Ohio State
22. Minnesota Eben Britton/OT/Arizona
23. New England Clay Matthews/OLB/USC
24. Atlanta Jared Cook/TE/South Carolina
25. Miami Darius Butler/CB/UConn
26. Baltimore Hakeem Nicks/WR/UNC
27. Indianapolis Percy Harvin/WR/Florida
28. Philadelphia (from Carolina) Alex Mack/C-G/Cal
29. New York Giants James Laurinaitis/MLB/Ohio State
30. Tennessee Michael Johnson/DE/Georgia Tech
31. Arizona Eric Wood/C-G/Louisville
32. Pittsburgh Alphonso Smith/CB/Wake Forest
Most people will think I got Sanchez/E. Brown/Heyward-Bey too high and Stafford/V.Davis/A. Smith too low. This is how I see it right now it will change before the draft.
I have the Skins drafting Andre Smith at 13. I hope Michael Oher slips to 13 but its going to be close. I also thought about giving the Skins Cushing but I decided against it.

Looks a sensible choice, long as he wears a shirt so we know what team he's on.
Lot of the published drafts have us getting Oher

I stopped reading after I saw that you had Heyward-Bey going before Crabtree.

It's not a stretch or unreasonable to think Oakland may like Hayward-Bey. Oakland has always valued speed at the WR position. That's common knowledge. Crabtree doesn't posses elite speed, although he still could go higher to a team like the Seahawks. His mock draft isn't that bad.

There is no way that Heyward-Bey goes before either Maclin or Crabtree. Simply isn't going to happen. Crabtree is a Fitzgerald-like talent. A team isn't going to pass on him to take a raw receiver like Heyward-Bey.

I didn't say he would. I merely said the Raiders value speed, so it's not unreasonable for someones MOCK draft to say the Raiders may take the fastest WR. Will it happen? Probably not, but it's a MOCK.

True. I was probably a little harsh with my initial response.

Thats my "Al Davis Oakland special". I got a gut feeling they take DHB at 7. Theres always a couple shockers on draft day and that one will probably be the first.

Yeah, who did the Iggles take that one year? 'bout 10 years ago they drafted a DE that NO ONE had rated above a 3rd round prospect. (and I mean
NO ONE) Iggles drafted him in the 1st and then I think cut him two years later.
Anyway, my mock would differ greatly from this one. I don't agree at all with the placement of Sanchez, Oher, Bey or Brown, among others. But hey, it's a mock.

Anyone who thought Ginn was a top 20 pick was a idiot imo. Ginn going 9th to the Phins was ignorant.
DHB is a 6'1 210 lb WR who runs a 4.3 40 he isnt Ted Ginn. I got a feeling DHB goes alot higher than what people think.

I didnt include trades in my mock or he wouldnt of went 12th. I dont think Stafford will drop to 12 either. My last mock before the draft is usually when I had a trade or two.

I like Sanchez more than Stafford but its really a flip of the coin. They both are about the same level imo. Wells to the Saints is interesting. I keep hearing the Saints want Wells. I find it weird that they dont like Pierre Thomas. Imo hes a damn good RB. That will be a pick I will find interesting when the Saints are on the clock. I havent really thought about Harvin to the Texans. They have bigger holes on defense. I dont think Everette Brown will slip to 20. Hes got great ability and has a insane burst. If the Cards draft a RB they will draft Donald Brown imo. I actually have Brown ahead of Moreno in my rankings.
Overall, its a very nice mock. Great job dude.

Mayock has Heyward-Bey going 7th to Oakland in his mock draft he just showed tonight.
I think he copied off of me.

You have to love speed. Heyward-Bey could become a dangerous downfield weapon. He'll be a project, but I wouldn't be shocked if he goes before Harvin/Maclin, simply because of his size compared to them and the fact he ran the best 40. I wouldn't be shocked if the skins took him. I think Oakland will take Crabtree if they go that route though.

Odds are the Raiders would take Crabtree if they went WR. I decided to go DHB just because I have a gut feeling.

I could see Heyward-Bey going before Maclin because I personally think he is a better all around receiver who can return kicks and punts pretty well himself, but to put him above Crabtree is insane. Crabtree is a rare talent. He is probably the best receiver talent since Calvin Johnson who is really good.

I actually got Crabtree 1 and DHB a close 2nd in my rankings. I based the mock on a gut feeling with the Raiders pick. Hopefully it pans out. My draft doesnt go by my rankings all together I base them on what I think teams will do with the pick.

i dont get why the Giants would draft Laurinitus when they have Peirce... And the Lions are going to take Stafford, i honostly feel thats a done deal already. I mean do they really want Culpepper playing still?

I did this mock before the Giants cut Plax so id probably have them drafting Kenny Britt from Rutgers here now.
I had the Giants drafting Laurinitus mainly because I have him slipping right now imo and I thought it would be a nice value pick for the Giants. I know they have Pierce but sometimes a player falls and a team decides to take him. They could move Pierce to OLB if they draft Laurinitus imo.
As for the Lions I have them drafting Sanchez instead of Stafford at #1. Hes a QB so I dont udnerstand your point. I think Culpepper is the starter opening day this year anyways. If the Lions draft either of those QBs they will be on the bench come week 1 imo.

If Sanchez is still on the board at 11 (unlikely) I see us leapfrogging the Broncos and going for him

What would we offer the Bills at #11?
