I am watching Around the Horn, just saw on the bottom crawl that the Broncos have agreed in principle to trade Cutler to the Bears. Wow, didn't see this one coming. Sportscenter is supposedly going to cover it.
Waiting for more info!

That sucks. I guess we're stuck with JC now.

ESPNews also has it up. I think it's good that this is over. Now we can move on. With the coaches and front office not coming out and saying nothing, Jason Campbell's feelings shouldn't be hurt.
Also, J-Camp has proven to be a bigger man than Jay Cutler for not whining when rumors fly around the team. I hope he comes out with that chip on his shoulder and helps lead the Skins to the playoffs.

Just remember its just in principle. How many times have you seen where someone agrees in principle and they back out and go somewhere else. Denver could do the same

Moved thread since, despite the Skins rumored interest, this is an ATL thread ... left the shadow topic so folks can find it though

That is a seriously stiff price to pay.

If true. . . .ouch. And it makes me all the more glad that the Redskins weren't in on this—we would have to have topped what the Bears gave up.

I thought that as it went on this deal was not going to happen to us - this is a big price to pay and I'm so glad that we did not do it.
Cutler is going to be a great QB but we do not need to pay all that

The Bills for Dockery in 07.
Anyways, I'm glad he went to Chicago. My brother in law is definitely happy.
I'm pissed that Snyderatto were stupid enough to do this to Campbell. I really hope those two step down. I'm sick of this ineptitude. They will never learn. Never.
How the hell do they expect to win if they keep shuffling guys around all the time and at positions they don't need to address!??!

No problem. Someone called me and told me when I was on here what the deal was. Then I turned it on ESPNEWS and realized my "source" was wrong. You didnt come across mean. You were right.

There have been many others. While some were good moves, some are not pleasant memories.

Bears just signed Orlando Pace. They are already trying to make Cutler happy. LOL

ESPN's Michael Smith reports the Bears have agreed to terms with OT Orlando Pace.
A busy day at Bears headquarters, as they now have added protection for their new franchise quarterback. Pace is slated to start at left tackle, with Chris Williams moving to right tackle and Kevin Shaffer now a swingman.

Well, now they have someone who can block for Cutler.
