Emmons to Giants

PHILADELPHIA - (KRT) - The one free agent the Eagles thought they might bring back became the first to leave yesterday.
Linebacker Carlos Emmons will get two chances to face his former team next season after signing a five-year, $16.5 million contract with the New York Giants. The deal included a $4.5 million signing bonus.
Emmons gave the Eagles one last chance to match the Giants' offer, and they declined.
