Salary Table?

Does anyone have a link to a updated salary table. I did a search but it only came up with older tables. I am just trying to get a realistic idea of how much money will be able to play with next offseason after we cut Jansen and Springs (hopefully).

thanks

if Im reading this right we have alot of options to bang out some money from free agency next yr. Marcus Washington is 6.5 million against the cap and could be let go since he can not stay healthy. Jansen is 3.5 million against the cap and also could be let go with a RT being drafted. Springs is making 8.5 million next yr and should absolutely be cut since he can not get on the field and stay there. Other names could be Randle El with 6.2 million, Phillip Daniels with 2 million, Erasumus James with 1 mill, Casey Rabach with 3.6 million and Griffin with 6.2 million. Of those guys, which ones can we not afford to cut and lose?

thanks for the link ant. to cut everyone would be great, we could pick up grocery baggers and beer truck drivers and beat the ravens that way, wait lets keep rock cartwright, he would be a great team leader... oh...you mean the guys mentioned above, not the not the whole team; okay $104,000.00 is a good chunk of change..... skins deserve to be in the playoffs this year and the giants may not clinch this weekend I hope for them to have a late season downward spiral.

The only guy on that list that I could make an argument for keeping is Griffin. He is a leader and still CAN play at a high level. Imagine him and Haynesworth (if we got him) with Monty and KG mixing in. Those other guys should be let go IMO.

Jansen - 3.5 mill
Springs - 8.5 mill
Washington - 6.5 mill
El - 6.2 mill
Daniels - 2 mill
Rabach - 3.6 mill

= 30.3 million dollars+restructuring money

We could go out and get Houzmandadah and Haynesworth resign D Hall, then add depth and sign draft picks with that. This offseason could be interesting. I am not always for spending alot of money, but I truely feel we are only a few players away from contention and could use the draft to solitify other positions (RT,OLB, Depth)

I'm sure that a cap guru wil come in and clarify, but unless all these guys are FA next year, we'll take cap hits when they get cut. Should add J Taylor to the cut list since he's really stealing a paycheck this year.

Agreed about Taylor. I would almost put all youngsters at these positions and see what we have and know we are going to struggle there. I say cut these guys, fill their spots with the draft/Free Agency and get alot younger.

Even if you get a couple big name free agents, thats fine as long as they serve a purpose and they are younger. Go get yourself Haynesworth, Throw in TJ Houz. and a good draft, and the skins really could be players next yr.

But everyone we draft, or Free Agents need to fill spots of weakness which we rarely do. Fred Davis did not fill a need, Malcolm Kelly did not fill a need (bc we had already drafted a WR, we didnt need 2)

I'm not a CAP guru but I'm betting that's not 30.3 mill saved. Thats what they are due to get paid. Then you have to look at it will cost to let the player go. Some players maybe making 1.5 mill this year but if we cut him we owe him 4 mill. Any way you get my point. I'm betting that when the CAP guru does look at the CAP we will be probably relativly close to the cap. Then there will be restructuring of some players which will give us good money to get new people who will make a difference. I like Haynesworth but bet he will cost an arm and a leg unless he simply says ...I wanna play for the Skins. Especially if he lets it get to a bidding war.

griffin will be injured again, he could then again be a great locker room guy, getting haynesworth ummm what about some more linbackers.
is broughton worth anything to the team in the future.

Skins2357, If I'm doing it correctly I still think I'm not....all those people only count 30,713 against our cap if we release them.

Currently we are $208.00 under the CAP.

I think the only FA would be Springs, Washington, Jansen, and maybe Daniels. I dont know much about cap but if all of those were to be FA we should have plenty of room to get a good FA, like maybe haynesworth or peppers, i hope. And there should stil be room to resign Hall
