We all know what the Skins need, an offensive line. Until we have one that can run block and pass block we will continue to see games like this one.

The only points we scored were on a gadget play... awesome...

We need to phase out James Thrash and ARE. Let the rookies into the game more, control penalties and be real nice to DeAngelo Hall so he'll re-sign with us.

We're not a contender this season, it's time to look forward

Hands down the 3 most annoying plays of this game were:

1. Suisham missing that 42 yard field goal, that would have put us within 3 at the half.

2. Shawn Springs jumping in front of DeAngelo Hall who had a clean interception.

3. Malcolm Kelly having a 20+ yard pass hit him in the chest and not pulling it in.

to me it was anytime the Giants faced 3rd down....seemed like they made it all day.

I'm on board with that. So frustrating to watch this team sometimes...

Same problems that we have every week...

No pressure from the front 4. Jason Taylor once again got run at and couldn't do anything about it.

Our oline didn't do a good job of opening holes and did a pathetic job in pass protection.

Jason Campbell held onto the ball for too long. He had ARE open but waited too long and it ended in an int.

Our wide receivers aren't very good and don't make plays. Big drops by ARE, Trash, and Kelly.

Special teams is very bad. Plackemeier sucks. Suisham, despite what some on here think, is not very good. Rock, while solid, just doesn't have game breaking ability and ARE is awful as a punt returner.

Bottom line is that we were outplayed and out-coached by a better football team.

Campbell was short on alot of passes today. Even when he had time, he threw short.

OL was poor all day. Rush 4 or 8--you can pressure our qb every time.

Is it poise or stupidity or lack of intensity when Jason stands with the ball in the pocket like he's at a family reunion pick up game? He's lucky not to have fumbled multiple times today IMO.

Anyone notice that ever since Zorn blew up at Portis on the sideline for not telling him that he was hurt, our team has not been playing for him anymore? I want to say that was the game against the Eagles.

JC has got to stop holding on to the ball so long, IA.

I just don't think Campbell has any confidence in our receivers with the exception of Cooley and Moss maybe :?

Its not our WR's Jason has lost confidence in, it's the line, he's not relaxed, he's throwing check downs instead of buying time and looking down field, he doesn't buy time well anyway let alone with pressure from a 4 man rush in his face and on his hip.

Not sure about this, but wasn't that the Lions game?

Will someone please remove the tampon from Zorn

I'm not a hater by nature howeverI feel that the Redskins and Redskin nation are being compromised by the ultra-consevative play calling of Zorn. Today's Game 9 secs lef tin the first half, we are lucky to be in the game at 13-7. Why not take a shot at the end zone? Seriously we just drafted two WR's that were actually over 6ft for this reason. TAKE A SHOT! This is a rivalry! This is the NFC EAST! We were lucky to be actaully in the game. Flash forward 4th and 1...Clinton up the middle...stopped. Well no sh*t he was stopped..they had 8 men on the line, we had 5...if you are gonna try and spread the defense and they don't do it, pass!!! Defenses have figured us out, we have to apdapt and call different plays in different situations. Every drive started with a CP run except the second which was a ridiculous attempt at a WR screen. Blacnhe...for the love of god, when Ward goes to the slot put someone on him! That play was run 4 times without the defense reacting...even in the second half. Today or coaching staff should be humiliated, not our players.

What's with Zorn's gay necklace?

Our offensive line is too old and slow..

Good insight, especially since our opponents all have young fast defenders, Justin Tuck anyone?

What's even more concerning is that on many plays they looked totally confused out there. Take the 4th and 1 in the 4th quarter when CP was stopped. Jansen didn't know who he was supposed to block and Samuels/Kendall didn't appear to know their assignments either.

Might have been the lions. Just remember this and started to wonder what the players think of a coach that constantly berates them. Especially one that does so in public.

Garbage, one TD.

Oh and a garbage kicker in Swish...

The Zorn yelling at Portis thing is a reach, and it was in Detroit, and we won that game. That's just trying to start something, the real answer is in the physicality of our offensive line, at this point in the season we can have our butts kicked by a 4 man rush, I'm sorry if you can get to the QB with 4 guys consistantly, it's over.

Offensive line? The Redskins need a defensive line that can pass rush. They haven't had a decent pass rush in 16 years.

What offense? I didn't see any offense.
I didn't see much defense either.
I predicted this yesterday and unfortunatly, I was right.

Amen!
But, let's look at all of our blown opportunities:
Midway thru the 2nd quarter, we threw 3 short passes to the right for incompletions. It took three attempts of running the EXACT same play to figure out it didn't work?
This is AFTER the pick by Hall, which goes to show how we never take advantage of turn overs.
Then the missed 42 yrd FG.
My dead grandmother can make those all day long.
Then the drive at the end which ended the game with a fumble.
Those are three scores and could have changed the out come of the game. But, like all season, we blew it, and it didn't change anything.
Like always, I'm already wishing for "Next Year."

Add Plackameier not being able to down the ball in the 10 yard line. Thrash drop. Not being able to get 4 and 1.

There was no way a dinged Portis was going to run against the Giants today--not with the huge gap in talent between our anemic OL and their terrific DL. What happened was predictable. It was also clear we weren't going to succeed passing with Campbell holding onto the ball too long, our miserable line blocking, and ARE and Thrash as WR's.

I took shots for saying this before the game but I'll say it again now: We should have had Portis on the bench recovering for next week and used Collins to throw to Moss, Cooley, Kelly, Thomas, Sellers, and Betts on a whole batch of tricky stuff. Zorn should have stepped up. Misdirection was the only direction, today.

Portis looks further damaged to me. If so, goodbye playoffs.
