Reading through everybody else's picks this week, I'm either going to look like a genius or a dunce after Sunday. I went against the grain on a couple of games, and look to be the only poolmeister to do so.

I think the Bills lose. AGAIN. They're playing like crap, their QB is imploding mentally on the field, and they basically are staggering into the most critical part of the season. Epic flameout, crash-and-burn, what have you, = no playoffs this year.

The Panthers are gonna play tough, physical ball on both sides and put those upstart pretender Falcons in their place. Don't care that it's at the Georgia Dome. Birds lose.

Patriots go to Miami and win this one. One word: payback. They haven't forgotten the ass-whupping the Phins put on them in Foxboro earlier this year. Probably been waiting a long time to play this one.

As poorly as the Bolts are playing, and as well as the Colts have played in recent weeks, when Indy comes all the way out here to play funny things happen. Look for this game to be all-kinda weird, with fluke plays/TO's/and a seriously messed-up rhythmn.

Well, that's it for me. I need to wrap this up before Hoss gets all pissed off at me trying to weasel in on his blog action, lol. Not sure why I got all loquacious with this week's picks -- I'm sure no one besides me cares why I did what I did -- but hey, so long as I care it's enough for me...

(GOTTA stop drinking so early on Sat. afternoons -)

Uh, I believe I only missed on Houston over Cleveland and Oakland over Denver (Should have stayed with my visitors theme on those two ). You can't hold off my late season push that way, Hoss.
