So we are now 6-4 - we are still in the running for a playoff despite all the doom and gloom Redskins fans that were part of the game thread

Too much short passing sticks in my mind.

The failure lies with the O-line barely any holes for the run game and a whole helluva lot of them for the cowboys d-line.

yeah, i feel sorry for the D, so many people want to blame it on them, not being able to stop barber in the 4Q from getting a 1st down... yes and no that is true... but at the same time, how much can you do when ur on the field ALL the time... the last two weeks, 16 points combined = PATHETIC

How about it's not all the QB?

In order to win games the offesnive line is going to have to improve. The defense gets the ball on 2 interceptions and the offense cannot turn them into ANY points, heck, I would have taken a field goal. If something doesn't change up front, and we can't generate pressure on opposing QBs, we might not win another game this season.

Zorn seriously needs to refine the offense, it's becoming predictable and with Portis hurting he should have been more creative. Especially with 2 weeks to prepare.

This was a must win game, and we played with no heart.

I'll say it again; this team does not deserve to watch the playoffs, much less participate.

Why?

O-Line = it's on your shoulders. Therein the failure lies IMHO. We need to make some wholesale changes there next year.

This was our game to win. Unfortunately, it was also our game to lose, and that's exactly what they did. I have a bad feeling that we are right back to where we have been for the last several years sweating out every game.

Defense sucked....no pass rush
Olin sucked....no pass protect
number 11 sucked....cry baby...catch the ball
Zorn is cracking up under pressure

Hat's off to Portis....looks like he may have hurt himself even more.

Very shocked by tonights performance by this team. We showed nothing but lack of desire. The o-line and d-line need to get back to the basics. We did not protect our QB or put any pressure on the other QB. Very bad performace by a team coming off the bye.

It is becoming a recurring theme. I think I've seen this movie before. I think I need some Captain Morgan right now.

Does anyone think our d plays a LOT better without Jason Taylor? Seemed like they ran at him all night

Let's look back at last season....

We had no pass rush, an old offensive line, and poor wide receiver play.

This season....

No pass rush, an even older offensive line than has been embarrassing the last few weeks, and poor wide receiver play.

Bottom line is that we didn't do enough during the off-season to address our weaknesses and now it's coming back to bite us.
