Any updates on CP's availability? I check the .com site, and the insider's blog...nothing. (EDIT) All I found was this...
"Clinton Portis remains a game time decision for Sunday night’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys at FedExField.

Three hours before kickoff on Sunday, Portis was on the field testing his injured knee. He appeared to be able to cut on the knee without any noticeable pain.

Among those watching the warm-ups were head coach Jim Zorn, assistant head coach-running backs Stump Mitchell, director of sports medicine Bubba Tyer, head athletic trainer John Burrell and physical therapist Larry Hess.

They appeared to be taking particular note of Portis’s ability to block pass-rushers on the injured knee.

After the workout, Portis huddled with team officials on the sidelines to discuss his availability. Television cameras filmed the meeting, but they were quickly ushered away.

Portis suffered the knee injury in the days following the Redskins’ 23-6 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Nov. 3. The injury worsened during the bye week.

Portis was not able to practice on the knee in the days leading up to the Cowboys game.

Since Portis had missed so much practice time, Zorn indicated that he would not be inclined to give Portis a heavy role should he be active for the Cowboys game.

Inactives for each game are announced about an hour before kickoff. "

I really don't know what to think. I had such a good feeling about Pit and we see what happened. I haven't heard anyhting about Moss and Samuels not playing tonite, which is good. I'm just worried about the running game. I'll be glued to my TV for the duration regardless, though!!

I am feeling really good. Portis is starting, they showed video of his warm-ups and he looked to have some boost in his cuts. My oh my, does anyone else have a feeling that Portis and Zorn were trying to dupe the Cowgirls? I mean in that video from NBC, Portis looked like he was close to 95-100%

I hope DeAngelo Hall steps up in his 1st game as a Skin. What a huge game to be brought in for to start his career.

I'm in complete agreement here, I try not to let those kind of things frustrate me but he needs to be on the field at some point. I'm not a doctor and my medical knowledge isn't all that vast but the time it has taken for him to "heal" is ridiculous. That's a situation that is going to have to be addressed in the off-season.

I am so excited too - we will now have Betts and Alexander ready to play most of the game

Not to mention that, all day long, the NFL network (and, of course chief gofer Schefter) are saying that Taylor and Springs are definitely starting, and Portis will be a gametime decision.
Forget about Zorn messing with the TTiT heads. What about ours?

He has to play now. No Springs, Torrence released, Smoot is at maybe 85% (and will never be 100% again, probably).
He has to play. His history against TO is less than stellar.
I think Springs is playing games here. Just my opinion, but I think he thinks we've just signed a man to replace him.
Wish I could get into his head.
I'll tell you this. I hope I'm not reading tomorrow about he and TO going out after the game.

why wouldn't he...he practiced with the 1st team D in Nickel packages all week. I haven't heard anything about him not playing. He's not an inactive, so he's suited up.

i would thing that he would want to play and shut down TO81 to provew that the skins wasted the money on hall......

and he is the best and is worth the money he has now and the money the will want....

but that is what i think......i do feel he is a little soft, how bad is this "shin" like parcells said once about terry glenn.... "i came back faster from a heart attack than he did a hammy"!

I am actually upset that Kelly isn't playing. Then entire week he was practicing and everybody said he looked good and felt good. He needs to play in order to show everyone that he was worth the 2nd round pick. If he doesn't play, we'll never know what kind of WR he can be.

I just want to break the curse of us getting annihilated on National/Prime time games.
