Anyone knows if they're going to use the again burgongy on burgondy.
We should use white, most recently when dallas comes to Washington wearing blue jerseys they lose.
I'm too nervous......

Hey Mac, i really don't think we'll EVER see those again, especially since we got our tails handed to us with them on. I was listening to the Sports Reporters and they were pretty much saying Zorn shouldn't mess with tradition and should stick to what we've been using. I can't remember exactly which uniforms we wore when we beat the cowpunks but hey, if we won with those I think we should wear them again.

Again, uniform colors have abosutely NOTHING to do with performance of a professional sports team. If the Wizards can win in those GODAWFUL pukish colors...

Who's starting anything? Now there is a limit on how people may comment on a completely speculative statement? Did I miss a memo?
I liked the burgundy on burgundy, personally. I hope we wear it again.

Oh my bad, I should've quoted CLL.. makes sense now Vet? It was directed to CLL's sarcasm about the blue jerseys dallas wears.. as you can see, I agreed with your other post before

I
know it has
everything to do with their performance. I also know that it matters when I wear my beat-to-crap 1999 NFC East Champs hat while I watch and if I don't I'm letting the team down.
..... NOTHING to do with performance

......sheesh......how naive

Seriously, just ask joebagadonuts about his lucky underwear. And we are undefeated the past 25 years in the classic '70s burgundy jerseys and gold pants look.
P.S. I'm not counting the shiny metallic gold pants, that we occasionally wore with throwback uniforms over the years. We had the correct pants Vs. the G-strings in week 3 last year, but inexplicably wore white jerseys, which caused a late-game collapse, and gave their season new life (1-2 instead of 0-3). See where it got them?

question: Along those lines, Gibbs seemed to prefer the white jersey with the burgundy pants. Some players have claimed to prefer the burgundy jerseys with white pants. Any idea how things will go this year?
Answer from Brad Berlin:
We’ll be wearing the white jerseys with the burgundy pants at home until, I think, the Pittsburgh game. After that, burgundy with white pants. Coach Zorn thinks it will help with the heat. For away games, we’re at the mercy of the home team — like Dallas always wears white at home, so we always wear the burgundy in Dallas.

No, that Giants game they were wearing the yellow Green Bay looking uniforms when they could not score from the one yard line in four tries.

I'd prefer to think of them as "Lombardi Classic" uniforms.
Too bad the team did not deserve to wear them...

I said they were wearing the gold pants that I like. The problem was they were also wearing the white jerseys, not burgundy. Also they wore the gold hemet with the R logo. I want those pants, burgundy jerseys, and their regular helmets (burgundy with the Indian head, and gold facemasks).

oh boy! sounds like someone wants his cake, then he wants to eat it too!
must admit - that sounds good to me as well

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you asking if I'm homosexual, because I want to see the Redskins play in their classic B&G uniforms? Funny question coming from someone who names himself after a piece of equipment worn hugging athletes' genitalia.

not at all - as I said, I also like the "classic B&G" - I was just pulling on your athletic supporter ... well, a little
as far as the name is concerned - to some it may be a piece of undergarment but to a person of Scottish heritage the name is equated in a little different light
a rose by any other name would still smell the same, no?

Now this is a good look.
I like Burgundy on Burgundy as much as I like White on White.

We should definitely at least wear those for a throwback uniform.

I don't care what you say, I'm not smelling it
I hated the burgandy on burgandy as I do the white on white. I've always preferred the burgandy jersey with the gold pants, but I'll take the white pants instead. Either or, it is just a uniform. The play on the field is what matters.
