I hate Dallas.

This game could define the Cowboy's season. It's that important. If they lose, I don't see them making the playoffs.

Hope our team can end their ridiculously over-hyped season.

I'm too nervous for this game, if the SKINS win I see us making the playoffs, the away games are not that hard

We need to get CP back on top at rushing. We will get it done, get a leg up on both iggles and pukes

This game IMO will have a dramatic effect on this team.

Im still holding out for the division title, I see 3 potential losses for the giants this half, starting this week with Baltimore. They still have the Skins at Fed -Ex and Carolina to deal with. We must win ours, I think we can, that leaves 1 loss for the Giants and were on it.

THE ROAD TO THE SUPERBOWL STARTS WITH THIS GAME!!!!!!

How good of a second half start would a blowout of the Pukes be.
It's time to set the tone, not just the players, but the fans as well must earn the right.

I feel that we need to win this division. I keep hoping for the Giants to lose.

I hope there's a lot of work going on this week. If there's no significant change, I'm going to be quite concerned. The 1st 1/2 of the season was pretty plain. Let's hope we don't get a second helping of the 1st 1/2 of the season in offensive production.

Ill be gravely dissapointed if Zorn doesn't get AT LEAST Devon involved. We need more WR help.

Yea I agree Vet, sure all that matters is the win/lose columns but I think we're pretty low out of the teams with winning records. I still believe we need to score more points instead of sticking around for our opponents to get chances with field goals and nonsense like that.

Go Skins, beat the cowpunks!

See, that's where I disagree. I look at a lot more than W/L records. I look at how the team is actually performing. IMO, our defense is a lot better than it appears on paper and our offense is worse than it looks on paper. The average of the two give us where we are. If our offense steps up just a little, we could have easily been 8-1, but our offense can't keep our defense off of the field against a good team. That's why we're skating by the skin of our teeth. This is NOT the definition of a solid team. We saw what happened when our strength of the offense is shut down. Perfect example: the Tennessee was held to TWENTY yards rushing, but their passing game stepped it up and maintained. We don't have that element. THAT'S the differnce between a soild team and the Redskins currently. I honestly believe that we can become that solid team, but not with our current vanilla passing game.

Ultimately though, it is up to the W/L, but the warm and fuzzy could be a little warmer with the record we have. I'm hoping Zorn weeded out those plays and gets us straight!

well, one thing is for sure and that is we need to score more points. At 171 points for the season so far we have scored the fewest points of any winning team in the league (credit blache and co.). Only the Bengals, Raiders, Chiefs, Lions, Rams and Seahawks have scored fewer points than us this season. Against dominate defenses we have to find a way to put more points on the board, I hope Zorn finds a way to involve Fred Davis in the passing game and maybe use Sellers a little more as well.

I drifted from topic...Skins 27 pukes' 16. We must win this game!

-The Redskins defense needs to get to the QB, and instill some fear!
-To piggy-back on CLL's point, they need to open up the passing game more...specifically to Devin Thomas.
-And the Redskins need to start stabbing points instead of slashing points...A.K.A 7 instead of 3.

I have faith in the Burgundy & Gold...lets get it!

As we can see from the standings and especially as it looks like there are going to be a few teams in the NFC at 10-6 or better, this is a big game.

I want to win because the division winner will be 4-2 or 5-1 BUT I also hope that we don't rush Portis' recovery from that knee sprain and if he needs to rest it for another week then that is what is more important.

We are at 6-3 - we could be at 8-1

I think the team can actually be a lot better but that is only possible with all of our key players being able to contribute and play at 100%.

This will never happen. What we need to do is get our younger guys to step up. We can't lose games cus Moss is gimpy. Get Devon involved, James Thrash isn't the answer. Get Fred Davis involved. Make them respect our passing game.

I disagree that "This will never happen." - I think the team this year has improved a lot quicker than we expected primarily because of the combination of our experienced players playing very well and the younger players helping out considerably better than expected. Maybe the 3 top picks have been a disapointment BUT I have a feeling Zorn is still working on them being a factor and soon  - I feel there must be some hopes for Kelly or he would surely be on IR by now.

I thought that we might be a decent team but we are a lot better than that and I think that we have not played nearly as well as we are capable.

I am looking forward to a decent finish to this season and while I think the defense will continue to keep us in games - I am looking for continued improvement from the younger receivers.

I don't our offense has improved since week 2. Actually, I think we've regressed for one reason or another, since the Cowboys and Eagles game.

Few thoughts...

This is a MUST win game. If we lose, it will be EXTREMELY tough to make the playoffs.

To have a shot, that would mean we would probably have to go 4-2 against:

Eagles
Giants
Ravens
San Fran
Seattle
Cincinnati

I think we need five more wins to make it personally. 5-1 agaist that line-up...no way.

If Portis isn't playing, we'll have a real tough time winning this game...

The Pies are very beatable right now. The first three teams you mentioned will be the tough games, the other three are also very winnable. I still say we finish 12-4 and win the division. If we only go 11-5, we will get a wild-card berth. 10-6 probably won't make it, but we do own the tie-breaker with the Saints, so you never know.
