The media in this country is so bias. The left spends more time researching Sara Palins hair stylist and the clothes she wears then they do researching Obamas radical friends. Now the L.A. Times has yet another video of Obama hanging around another radical. How many anti American friends does this guy have to have. He is now up to 6 in my count but you cant dare question the great one. This guy is a far left liberal that comes of as an everyday joe thanks to our good ole media!

First, you need to decide who you are being victimized by; is it the "liberal media," or "the left" in general? And wouldn't the LA Times' video you speak of, demonstrate just the opposite of your contention? By exposing Obama's "hanging out with another radical," with "yet another video" wouldn't they be doing the work of the right?

The best part of your post is that you've backed it up with so many facts, and you've cited your sources. The link you posted to the LA Times video was incredible. The second best part is the wonderful grammar.

I think it's more of a "gut feeling" type of thing.

Tensions are getting higher and higher the closer we get to election. I am tired of anything and everything republican or democrat. With that being said, where is the proof of Obama doing such things? No link? If you are going to make such a bold claim, you need to have some factual evidence to back yourself up.

haha you libs are funny...I am willing to say that Obama deserves to win only because Mccain is such a weak candidate...Mccain doesnt want to expose him for who he is. He is scared to run adds about rev wright when he saw what it did to him durring the primary. He let Obama flip flop on campaign financing, gun control (previously for the dc gun ban and now he isnt) and how his tax plan that started for people making 250,000 or less and now its down to 120,00 according to him and Biden and Bill Richardson. Shame on Mccain and the republican party for letting Obama make the rules on what we are aloud to talk about and what we arent. It is taking all of my energy to even vote for Mccain after how soft he looked this whole election. Dont get me wrong he is qualified and would do a whole lot better than Obama but I am still not happy. Thankfully Palin is on the ticket and is a breath of fresh air.

The LA Times admits that it has the video. It admits that the contents are damning. It claims valid reasons for not releasing...

Aren't you at least curious to know the truth? Will you be pissed if, after the election, it turns out that all claims were true?

LA Times Blog about the story...

Reading the blog entry it sounds more like the Times is trying to protect it's source then protect Obama.

Support for The Times' sticking to its journalistic priniciples came in a post from Bill Sammon, the deputy managing editor of Fox News Channel's Washington bureau. Saying that the choice was "pretty simple," Sammon wrote of The Times and the reporter on the April story, "Indeed, [Peter] Wallsten has little choice in the matter. If he were to cave in to mounting public demands for the tape, no self-respecting source would ever give him another shred of information. Nor should they."

Uh huh... I know that's what they say... Don't you wonder why they don't just do a transcript? That meets the need to avoid releasing the video (supposedly, the issue is protecting the identity of the "source", and that would meet that need...) there is plenty of precedent for that course, as well. Sooooo... why not release a transcript??? Again, aren't you curious??? Or are you afraid of what the answer might be? What's the harm in getting this info?

Lincoln? He built the model for usurping the authority of the Constitution...

Suspension of Habeas Corpus... the jailing of politically hostile judges without charge... it goes on...
