Ryan Clark and LL now have two things in common. They've played safety for the skins and they've both been run over by Jacobs :)

If the Giants lose tonite, who do we pull for next week in the Giants vs Cowboys? I realize that the Giants will still be up, but god I hate the Cowboys so much more than the Giants...

well, if the giants lose tonight, we don't have to pick any team as the redskins will still be in first place after monday night......

BUT if i had to choose i will only say this....there is no way in hell that i pick the pukes.

The loss to the Giants dropped the Steelers to 5-2. They faced the Giants without injured tailback Willie Parker and wide receiver Santonio Holmes, who was on the inactive list for the game and reportedly is facing a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge stemming from a traffic stop last Thursday. Coach Mike Tomlin announced Friday he would deactivate Holmes for the game and said late Sunday he would meet with the wide receiver Monday.

Holmes issued an apology through the team Monday and presumably will return to the lineup against the Redskins.

"I recognize that I made a mistake and understand the significance of my actions, and will not make any excuses for my behavior," Holmes said in his written statement. "I look forward to putting this behind me and to being accepted by my teammates and the fans as part of this team."

I'm sure he does want to put this behind him. The question is, isn't this breaking the league's drug policy? I know the Steelers benched him for a game, but won't the league have to suspend him for four games, as well? Is league discipline pending, or can a team punish a first-time offender in-house? Where is Goodell on this?

If it's all the same to you, I think I'll let Greg Blache draw up the game plan. He seems to have a handle on things.
