im glad we got out of there with a win and no injuries, assuming that moss's isnt serious

The Redskins don't want to make anything easy. They dominated every statisical category and the Lions could have tied it up with a TD and a 2 pt conversion.

We have to bring our "A" game next monday if we want to beat a very good Steelers team.

moss' injury is def serious. His game changing speed always comes from his hamstrings being healthy. If he tweaks one then it takes forever to get back. I doubt that he will play next weekend against Pitts. Its a big loss.

Games against inferior team should not get this close.

A win is a win, but something's not ticking 100 percent.

I hope Pitt does not expose us.

Let's wait to see the diagnosis before we count him out NEXT WEEK.

We played well enough to win scoreboard wise, but these stats show that we still played pretty good.

Passing CP/AT YDS TD INT
J. Campbell 23/28 328 1 0

Rushing ATT YDS TD LG
C. Portis 24 126 0 31

Receiving REC YDS TD LG
S. Moss 9 140 1 50
C. Cooley 6 74 0 19

We need to convert those stats into TD's.

Coach JZ (locker room report) just made a good point.
It's not how many yards you get, but how many points per yard you get.
Makes good sense to me.

Still, it is another "W" on our side.

Hail to the Redskins!

Funny thing about CP: I was watching one of those Redskins shows yesterday and Randy Thomas was riding CP about when h's going to break another one longer than 25 (or 30, cant' remember). It was hilarious. Guess he answered Randy Thmas.

It's a win, but we really need to learn to put teams like the Lions to bed early.

As well as the defense has been playing, we don't get any turnovers, and we need to somehow get a pass-rush. Orlovsky had all day in the pocket.

What's this about Moss injuring his hamstring? I didn't get to see the game. Did he leave under his own power?

Portis has 944 yards rushing in 8 games. He's on pace for over 1800 yards

Locker room report Re: CP & SM injuries =

CP - Headed directly to the training room walking normal. No direct report.

SM - Tana says, Muscle sore, says he may not be that bad. Will ice it, get treatment, and said he will be ready next week. Let's hope so.

CP - Back out of the locker room. Says, ankle a little sore. Minor, He will be on the field vs. Pitt.

Obviosuly this can change a day or so later, but all initial signs sound good. We will need them both to beat the Steelers.

Hail to the Redskins!
