This really sucks for us.

I did not know we were in the market - what is the problem with this guy going to the pukes - IF that happens it also means that he wont be playing for the Lions when we go there next week

The pukes are not going to be better just because they have Roy Williams - they already have the best WR in football - if there is any doubt in your mind just call TO and ask him

The deal was Roy Williams for a 1st, 3rd and 5th round pick. It sounds like a lopsided deal to me.

Now Dallas leads the league in Roy Williams'

Anybody else think this is a smoke screen to deflect attention off of Pacman?

We have to play Dallas again this year. The only thing I worry about is our ability to cover their WR's. I think we will beat Detroit with him there.

I just worry if we can stay healthy enough to have guys who can cover two quality receivers.

How the hell (sorry) do the F-in (sorry) Cowboys AFFORD ALL THESE PEOPLE?!

My bad, they're saying, a 1st, 3rd and a 6th.

I wonder how T.O. feels about this...

Here is what I wonder???

WHAT DOES T.O. HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS???

All I gotta say is Tony Romo won't be able to play with his new toy for awhile. hahaha It's Christmas for Brad Johnson

I worry about our ability to get to the passer before he gets the ball to all the weapons he's got. We got no sacks on Romo last time we played them. Hopefully, he'll still be out when the Cowboys come to town.

Waaaaay overpriced. Detroit scammed Dallas. ROTFALMAO

The T.O. reaction alone would make this a bad deal for the Pies, but that they are mortgaging their future too? This is priceless.

A smoke screen? Are you serious?

Smoke and mirrors my friend...smoke and mirrors.

I'm really not worried about this trade. The offense will tear itself apart, if not the entire team, before we play them here.

Let me see if I got this straight...You have TO, you have Witten, you have Marion the "librarian" and 40 something Brad Johnson at QB. You ADD a guy who was disgruntled in Detroit wanting to see more balls thrown his way. THEY WILL BE A POWDER KEG READY TO EXPLODE.

I wonder what TO thinks about all of this? Oh, I'm sure he's a team player and wouldn't mind if Williams comes in and takes precious touches away from him. I'm sure he'll sit back quietly in a corner and say nothing...ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE LOSING. Yeah, right. The whinning will begin in 3...2...1...NOW!

No worries, I also heard several different reports.

By the way, maybe the Lions are trying to undo what Matt Millen did. Perhaps we could get Calvin Johnson. 8)

There must be some raeson why the Lions are so bad - they had all this talent at the WR position and a team that is 0-5 - they must have been throwing the ball up some and here they are 14th in the NFC in passing yards and 13th in receiving yards.

these are very scary WRs

Does Jerry Jones think he's playing Madden here? He keeps bringing in all these players with character issues in and out, jeeze it's really embarrasing this old man will do whatever it takes to win but the sad thing is he will never win another superbowl with this style.

Can't beleive the media gives Dan Snyder all this grief, look at Jerry Jones! He's so desperate to win he'll give anything, it's quite pitiful.

Minus the character issues we used to be the same way. The irony in this thread is mind boggling.

I've seen a fair bit of Williams and Johnson and they just don't scare me that much. Sometimes you figure the two of them would struggle to catch cold much less a ball. In fact, Williams would catch a lot more balls if he'd just open his large mouth and use that instead of his hands. He has attitude issues and is one of those guys that talks like they are the second coming of Jerry Rice or something so he is going to the perfect team...

Now Dallas leads the league in Roy Williams'

... on two fronts:

number on the roster: 2

number who can play: 1

If you look at Roy Williams (WR) numbers, he had one excellent year. The rest are not exceptional by any stretch. I'm not any more worried than I was before they got him.

im really interested in how they're going to keep all those egos happy.. especially since Brad Johnson's playing now. he''s not gonna be throwing as much as Romo.
