i looked to see if this was in a thread anywhere and couldn't find it. i also looked for something to give a link and couldn't find it. so if i'm repeating this, sorry but i heard on the radio this morning, trent dilfer was saying the Zorn tried to call a victory monday to give the team monday off, and they all said no. they wanted to come in and keep working so they didn't lose momentum. if that's true, i think that's pretty damn impressive and says a lot about our team and i think most of all, zorn.

I saw and heard this on Mike & Mike and NFL network.

That's big for the team to be serious and come in to lift, watch film, and start getting ready for the Lambs.....of St. Louis.

Gotta stay focused even to beat a winless team. Don't get trapped.

Just say no to trap games... all 3 of them. I'm pretty sure they'll be up for Pittsburgh, but before that, there are 3 games with talented teams that, I'm sure, are pretty sick of being walked on. It'd be easy to slip here.

Bungles almost pulled one off if the daggone RB didn't fumble the ball they would've been in good shape.

I heard that the team as a whole volunteered to practice, so I imagine that they wou;d be there. That was a helluva game. We are growing up as a whole and gellin big time. The O line is getting the swagger back and CP is doing his thing. We can say that special teams play needs wor, but really that's just nitpicking, there's nothing else to say but yell out HAIL SKINS.

On Redskins radio this morning, I heard that Zorn scrapped the idea of "Victory Mondays" altogether after the entire defense showed up last Monday -- voluntarily -- to study film.

Just watched Sportsnite, and Smoot was interviewed and said that the whole team wanted to practice, they wanted to get back to work and focus. Sportsnite didn't have subtitles so some of those words may be off, but hopefully you get the picture. It looks like Zorn offered the day off, and the team refused because they don't want any off these games to turn into a trap game.

I think this team finally has it's x-factor; they "believe".

They believe in themselves.
They believe in their coaches.
They believe in each other.

It seems like forever since it's been fun to be a Redskins' fan so early in the season!
