Is Springs Healthy?

I'm not finding any information regarding his injured calf. Is he playing this week? I assume Smoot has recovered from his bell-ringer?
Someone may have already mentioned it on another thread, but what's the status of Westbrook? He has been lethal to us in the past, sure wouldn't hurt my feelings if he missed a game.

Haven't heard about Springs either...
Thinking Smoooot...might still think he's Batman...but he'll be okay!

Redskins.com wrote:Shawn Springs was sidelined (in Wednesday's practice) with a calf injury, but the 12-year veteran said he hopes to be ready for Sunday’s game against Philadelphia.
“I’m still really sore right now, but hopefully I’ll be back out there and getting ready to play on Sunday,” Springs said.
Springs suffered the injury in the second half of the Dallas game and he did not return.
I think Springs will play Sunday... I hope so anyway.

He's not "healthy" but I believe that he'll play. Or at least start the game. I wouldn't be shocked if he left midway through the game.

"Just with his calf, it's not responding well yet," Zorn said. "The light is fading if we're expecting him to play on Sunday."
Defensive starters Springs, Taylor likely out vs. Eagles

I don't think that having SS is as important as last week. I agree that he's our best CB, but the Eagles don't have as dominant a #1 threat as Dallas does. I believe with Rogers and Smoot starting and Horton and LL supporting in coverage, we'll be okay. I think we'll miss JT more this week with his football intelligence breaking up the screen than SS.

Carlos has been playing well lately (relative to how he used to be) I'm liking the way they line up on a WR no 10yd cushions. Jax has been employing that and it's not working out for them. Springs is hurt, no doubt about it. But with Carlos and smoot on tap, we'll be fine, I just hope we come out of this game relatively unscathed.

Springs is a china doll man. The D is so much better with him on the field but he cannot stay healthy.

The Eagles don't have a guy that is as dominant as TO, but rookie receiver Desean Jackson is seventh in the NFL in receiving so having Springs play is important.

He's also gone up against the 18th (Dallas), 27th (Chicago) and 28th (Rams) ranked secondaries and he plays in a pass-heavy offense. I'm not saying he's not a good receiver but that's a short sample size against some favorable defenses. Yes, I know the Redskins are ranked 23rd but they've also played the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 8th ranked passing attacks.
