I feel bad for Lane Kiffin. I still guarantee had the Razorback offered him instead of Bobby Petrino, he would have been the hell out of Oakland.
From what I have read, we basically told him he had the job, never made contact with him or returned his calls, then three days later hired Petrino.
Lane Kiffin is going to be a very good coach for somebody. I think he is a great candidate for a college HC spot or an overqualified OC.

Crap...I got the job but I was fired before it was announced. Davis is OUT of CONTROL with this coach thing!

I'm sure he'll end up with another college gig... probably a good one. Just a matter of time.

I am thinking he would be a top target at Tennessee if they finally fire the Krispy Kreme Monster. I don't know if Lane Kiffin is really ready for the SEC, but I can see him in Volunteer land.

And what about the Raiders job? What quality head coaching prospect is going to want to work in that circus/asylum? Not that I care about the Raiders, but I feel for their fans. What 'skins fan hasn't lamented in recent years that the ownership would be the ruin of our team? Unfortunately for Raider fans, while Snyder appears to be improving, Davis will just be declining.

The only positive is that Al is 79 years old; he can foul the waters in Oakland for only so much longer.....

Talk about senile. The text of that letter he put up on the screen for all to see is the ramblings of a lunatic.

Yes, the man has clearly lost any degree of lucidity

Al Davis, you really need to retire. Your glamor shot doesn't look very good.

That's not Al Davis. You've clearly mistaken him for Jerry Jones. It's the eyes that are the give-away. Rookie mistake, Cappster.

Closer, but still not right.
It's DC's own George Michael.
