Jim Haslett takes over as interim head coach, yet his defense is currently ranked 31st in the league. I know Haslett made some improvements to the Saints during his time there, but his current defensive rankings in St. Louis are pretty poor.
I will say this. The Rams have a bye week and then come to DC in two weeks to play the Skins. Even though they're awful, is anyone a little nervous about this game? I could see the Rams players coming together for Haslett in a desperate attempt to win a game for him know that Linehan is gone.

Seeing how the team has prepared for each of the past three weeks, there is no doubt in my mind that they will be ready to play the Rams. No worries on this end. Plus, it's a home game. The 12th man will be there that day.

Sitting here in St Louis and listening to what some of the players have to say, I'm very nervous... they're hinging their whole season on getting ready to play the 'Skins in D.C.
The feeling is that there will be no pressure on them (especially since they won't have to listen to the home fans boos), and the pressure will be on the 'Skins not to lose to a winless team.
Haslett seems to think their issues are more with attitude than talent, and that he can address that in a hurry.
Everything points to a trap game, so I hope that after the 'Skins win in Philly they don't let up...
