I shudder to think about what would have happened to old 61 if the Redskins had let this game slip away.
Have you ever in your life seen two touchdowns called back because of the same lineman? On the same series?
What was he doing downfield anyway on that pass to ARE? I mean, pass blocking is just holding your position right? Using your arms to control your man?
A hold sometimes is excusable because it can stop a teammate from getting railed... but an ineligible receiver penalty? Just ridiculous.
What did you guys think of Casey's day?

That would have destroyed us last year. Z-spot keeps the pedal to the metal.

i didnt even see the holding penalty, the Ref blew that one i think.. but he and the whole O-Line were solid today IMO. yeah it was a boneheaded play but ya cant hold it against him. just move on and enjoy the win

The play had broken down and he was looking at who he could block downfield since it looked like Campbell might scramble. This happens often in the NFL. . .
The holding penalty was a bit of a reach IMHO.

He had some trouble blocking in the interior, those penalties (both not too terrible IMO, just unfortunate and with the worst luck in timing) definitely could have cost us the game under different circumstances.
Not his best day. Thankfully it won't stick in our memories.

He's been far too solid in his time here for me to worry about today at all, the first call against him was a case of a ref being way too quick with the flag.

They could call holding especially on the center AT ANY TIME on ANY PLAY
The refs we're cowboy homers just listen to how hillbilly their voices were. Howedin Nyumber Sixtee Wuun. Refs knew that series was a killer so they screwed us, that's to be expected going into dallas it happens everytime. As far as him being downfield, if it has nothing to do with the play it should'nt be called.

Agreed. He was just heading downfield to do some blocking. He had no idea that a pass was going to happen. The hold was a "eh" call. Just dumb luck that they were both scoring plays.
2 sacks against
THAT D. I think that's a decent day for Rabach and our O-line.

Not great to have those penalties back to back, but he had a very difficult matchup in Jay Ratliff.

He was part of an interior line that made just enough room against a tough interior.
That was very true, Pulp, Ratliff, for a 3-4 nose, is a hoss, and unusually so on pass rushing.

Imagine that.... people having a Texas accent in Texas....the horror of it all...
About Rabach:
As stated, I'm not worried about one game in a successful career. He pulls his weight every game. We also won, so there's no need to wonder if we would have lost, b/c it didn't happen.

True, Rabach has been solid for a long time on that line. Just bad timing to have two penalties called on you in one series. Honestly though, I thought both we're cheap calls.
No matter, the Skins showed that all this talk about how they're the worst team in that division is a bunch of poppy-cock....
GO SKINS!!! (damn, Mondays are some much better after beating the Cowpokes)

Personally, I didn't think that the first call was a holding penalty and did you notice how late that second flag came out. It wasn't until ARE crossed the goal line that the flag came out. Personally, I thought they were Dallas homers. We did get a make-up call on that facemask, but all in all I am not concerned with either of those penalties. The first wasn't a penalty and the second was done (1) because Rabach thought JC was going to run and (2) because the refs were complete homers.

i felt that casey had a bad day for sure but the ref at times pulled the trigger just a tad too quick but twice in a row man those were worth 6 points both times but we got the win regardless of those penalties..
in the past this team would have buckled but this time they stood tall and it showd all game....
so i say casey had a bad day and desrves a pass.

I was disappointed in the holding call, considering that the refs were "letting them play" for most of the rest of the game. I am pretty sure I saw some blatant holds that weren't called earlier in the game (including one that stopped a certain sack of Romo).

What about Jansen's false start that they did not call or the facemask on Pacman? The refs weren't good on either side.
