1-1 Next two games

I will sign a 1-1 record the next two games, that would gives the Skins a 3-2 record with home games vs the Rams, Browns and then at Detroit which I'm sure the Skins will be favorites in the three of them, so if we go 1-1 in this road trip we can be looking to an 6-2 record for the first half, just a prediction, in this era of the NFL you never know, just look at the Dolphins this past Sunday. So lets go for the two road games, but a 1-1 record wil be great.

Completely agree. If the Redskins can split the next two games, it will be huge...

I've still got this small part of me that is hoping they can pull it off and go 4-1. I can't help but to get a little excited from what I've seen from teh whole team so far. If we can just boost our pass rush a bit....

There is a part of me that the consistent losing hasn't completely destroyed...

I try to ignore it because I always get my feelings hurt. I'm tired of being battered and abused, but I just can't leave.

What he said. Sure, as a fan I'm hoping for 2-0, but I'd be happy with 1-1 (especially if the win was against the 'boys!!

).

I'm prepared for 0-2 the next two weeks. So getting a win would be freaking sweet.

i think that 1-1 would be great. i said right when the schedules came out that if we get out of the first 5 games 2-3 we'd be in a nice spot because all of our division road games would be out of the way. so 0-2 wouldnt be that depressing but i want AT LEAST one win. i would prefer if we got one that it would be versus the cowboys

Did any of you see the Eagles dominate the Steelers and the Cowboys crush the Pack? Forget 2-0 or 0-2, I'll take J. Camp still standing after two weeks.

Honestly Dallas is just a media darling. Yes they have a good squad but the Eagles and Giants are both better teams. Both the Eagles and Giants are playoff proven.
I am not doubting Dallas , I am just not sipping the same kool aid that the media is passing out. The Skins have managed to go about 50/50 against Dallas for the past four to five years. In those games our offense was at least a few steps behind the offense we have now.
So the way I see it , this is a better Redskins team then we fielded last year and we are playing virtually the same Cowboys team. No I am not guaranteeing the win but I really like our teams chances.

If I were a betting man, I'd say 0-2 is more like it over the next two games. 2-3 and 5-3 at the half.
With that said, let's just take this one game at a time folks.

Anything less would be a disappointment any week we might lose. Too bad for Dallas we are going to push them around, shove pie in the face of the media, and laugh at all who didn't give us a chance.
Its also too bad that even with a win, we still won't be considered better than dallas.

what do you all think is a more likely win. I personally think Philly is because Westbroke is ailling, sorry if his name is misspelled. We might have Taylor for that game too and I read somewere that Heyer is out for Dallas, and he might be playing in Philly as well. I also think that Philly's O won't cause the type of problems TO will for us. I think we can stick Smoot on Jackson, and Brown is hurt and we can put Springs on him, Rogers could guard the other starting Wr, Jackson is the third receiver in the slot from what I hear. If it wasn't for that dump handoff than Philly probably would have beaten Dallas, I think Philly's D will cause us more problems though than Dallas D. They have Samual and Dawkins in their secondary. I think overall that Dallas will be harder to pull of a victory and their O will cause us more problems, but I think Philly's D will cause us more problems than Dallas, and the the wild card of the Philly fans. What game do you think will be more likely to pull off a victory.

many good points in this thread. i fall into the category that i am looking for a game in which we continue to progress.
1-1 after these two games would be a positive. to answer john's question, i think we have a better chance getting the win at philthy.
that being said...
pukes 24-skins 41

If we can split in the next two weeks, it would be great, but even if we go 0-2, we still have a decent schedule the following two weeks. Dallas and Philly are both tough but we know them well and it is usually a fight in almost every game. Let's go 'skins! If we go in and beat the girls, then I really think the momentum and confidence will lead us over the iggles.
It is going to be interesting to see what happens the next two weeks and how the team responds. I can't wait!!

See, I never understood this. We're fans on a message board. Why do we need to take it one game at a time? IMO, this is the one place we can do just what we're doing, predicting the rest of the season by what has occurred so far. The team needs to take it one game at a time, not the fans.
