We want Dallas!

Hey we all know what week it is.
Just a couple thoughts. The offense has stepped it up lately. Mainly Jason Campbell. Good to see him maturing in this offense. The offense looks much more balanced.
This week will be a tough test. Our hated rivals are the SuperBowl favorite. I feel to win the game this week , we will need production from someone other than the usual suspects Portis ,

ey and Moss.
It will be interesting to see how the Dallas defense will come out. Now that the Skins Offense is much more balanced. I expect them to stack the box with seven and have a saftey over the top of Moss. Since the tape shows

ey and MOss making most of the catches it obvious they will focus on them. So I just hope one more player emerges this upcoming Sunday. I am hoping that is Devin Thomas. Or if any other Skin would like to step up I would love that too. Either way I will be on my couch hating the Cowboys. Hail to the Redskins. Lets go team!!

We need a good pass rush this week to beat the cowgirls. Romo has had too much time this year to sit back and pick a receiver to go to. The same goes for our offense in the fact that we need to pass protect J. Camp so he can find the open receiver. I believe Moss will have a big game and Portis will run all through the dallass D.

Romo will throw INTs if he is pressured. We need to blitz consistently.

Contain Barber, pressure on Romo, no offensive turnovers and productive first down plays by the offense are some of the keys to beating Dallas. It Can be Done!

I'm not sure I want Dallas just yet, lol. I would rather play them 2 games from now just to put some more polish on this offense.
But, screw it, here we are. If we can some how manage to get this win... I really don't know what's going to happen this season.

Las Vegas has made dallas a 12 point favorite. i was thinking it would be 8.5 or 9. 12 is too high.

Let's say we manage to beat Dallas...
I must say that the media will lose it's mind...
How do you rank Dallas #1 when the "worst" team in the division beat them?
Do the Redskins get mentioned in the same sentence as the other 3 teams?
Do we crack the top 10 in the power rankings?
If we win, it will be a fun week to watch.

yes it,s that time again dallas week for sure..it will take a great effort on the skins part to win this game and i think it can be done .
we need to be very aggressive on both sides of the ball for 4 quarters .the defense better be flying to the ball and to the quarterback all day long and for the offense be sharp and quick keep the boyz off balanced all game.oh yeah by the way another episode by TO would be great too and having jessica at the game with all pink well that would be great as well.
it will be tough as usual but it will be intersting as always.to coach zorn this is the team we as fans don,t like too much and we would,nt have it any other way either.so beat the boyz and continue the progression on the offense and the overall scheme of things as we move along during the season..like CLL screw it it is what it is and hopefully we can do it..
go skins

This game is going to be a huge challenge, especially with Taylor out for Sunday now. Hopefully TO doesn't score 3 TDs against the Redskins in Dallas like he did last year.
The offense is going to need to score a lot of points in this game...

Well, if the pathetic Dolphins could beat New England at Foxboro, I like our chances against Dallas.
Blanche should have learned something from last year. The secondary can't let TO run around like crazy and score 3 times. They have really stepped up this past couple of weeks and they can do it again this time.
I expect a fantastic matchup. Can't wait!

the pakers did an amazing job keeping TO in line last night. They just couldnt stop the run game to save their life. and id like to think our run defense is a lil better than the packers. But from what i saw last night, it looked like they had Woodson on TO and gave him a lil bump and then let the safety take him for most of the 1st half. It seemed to work IMO. i would guess that Blatche looks at that game and sees that. i wouldnt mind seeing springs/Rogers/Smoot and Landry doing that to TO all game.

Yeah I'm just not feeling this one. The Cowboys are freaking loaded right now.
btw Did anybody watch the Eagles yesterday beat the snot out of Pittsburgh? The NFC East is definitely beast again.

YUP yessir!
Everyone is finally coming around to the fact that NFC east is the beast Division, something we've known for quite some time now. We usually send 3 to the playoffs every year, and who ever stayed home wasn't really out of it until the very last game.... Beast, I tell ya.

I saw the last couple of minutes, but I didn't see any snot being lost, and 15-6 doesn't seem like a whuppin'.

yeah this going to be tough... I don't know how you stop Barber without putting an extra guy in the box... and I don't know can you can pressure Romo without blitzing... I guess our best bet is to control the clock somehow, which means we need to be able to run the ball and keep the down and distance manageable...
Oh yeah, and pin them deep with great punts, make all our field goal attempts, return a punt more than 4 yards, keep Felix Jones and Pacman from breaking one, keep Witten from picking you apart, protect JC, don't turn the ball over, and force a couple turnovers on D...
That's all...

I watched a bit of this game JSPB and the score is not very indicative IMO of how much better the eagles were than the steelers - that being said there were other factors - Ben did not look right and they just did not seem to play very well - taking nothing away from the eagles, they did play very well and really took it to the steelers.
I would rate the pukes and eagles as the best in the NFC East right now with both the giants and the Redskins a little behind - The Redskins are not quite there yet but we did get 3 really good guys in Kelly, Thomas and Davis and we will add some more pieces next draft.
we are not as good as we would like to be and the eagles and pukes are very strong this year but we are certainly not as bad as many thought we were a few weeks back. The giants are certainly not the best team in the East this year and were very lucky to win yesterday with help from another bad call in my opinion - the replay official should at least have rewiewed the play rather than let the giants call a quick run play.

I'm not saying our beloved Redskins will win, but I like how we've defensed Romo and Barber in past years. Question is really will our guys BELIEVE that they can beat Dallas, especially in Dallas. They played well there last season and made a good game of it I thought.
Also, pressuring Romo doesn't work. He thrives when he's flushed out of the pocket. We have to take away Jason Witten and TO and drop more guys back into coverage. We need to confuse him as much as possible. Take away the middle of the field. We need to frustrate Romo into making poor decisions.
We always tend to look at personnel and how they match up against each other. If that was the only criteria, we'd be beat before the game started. If we keep the mistakes down and get on the board early, we got a chance to win this game.

Keys to beating Dallas next week:
1. Pick off and hit Romo. He's still too fragile to me to stand up to adversity. A pick or two and a couple of blitzes and he get's antsy and uncomfortable.
2. Score points on drives and off of turnovers. We have to score points when we get the ball.
3. Put a shot on T.O. early. If "Dirty 30" can put a lick on him early, he get's "alligator arms" and is pretty much done for the night.
4. Move Horton and Doughty around to defend Witten and stop the run. Our run defensive is a little weak now and Dallas has two really good backs.
5. Protect Jason and execute our plays.
6. Zorn has to outsmart their defense and keep them off balance.
7. Special teams has to do a good job on kick-offs of stopping Felix Jones and Durant has to punt well and not give Pacman a chance to run.

Anybody else hate the fact that every game at the FedEx Field is accompanied by the "We Want Dallas" chant? I can guarantee that at no time over the past 10 years has there been a "We want the Redskins" chant going on in Dallas.
It almost bothers me as much as people chanting "O" during the National Anthem. This has got to stop.

An Orioles-inspired thing, during "oh say does that star spangled ..." O's fans lamely stress the O ... really dumb, can occasionally be heard at Redskins games. I dislike the "na na na na, hey, you suck" chant ... it's insipid and uninspired. It just makes us the kind of fan base people hate.
