America's Team indeed.

Y'know, I always hate it when some singer drags out their "soulful" rendition of the national anthem, but I certainly wouldn't boo it.

it did suck. that hoe has no business singing anything.

why the hell would you try to make your own notes and word variations to it??? do the right thing. just sing the damn song. you didn't write it, just sing. like we needed to hear home of the brave.... twice, in five octaves. you know you suck when you have to mask everything you do.

just like the pukes.

Sounds like they booed the singer, not the anthem.

Texas is its own country but we are loyal to the nation. You better sing the national anthem well in Dallas.

Two questions:

1. Who sang it?

Texas is a world of its own.. so it's all lumped into one dysfunctional region...

Doesn't matter who sang it, doesn't even matter how well they sang it, the Cowgirls fans still booed it. I think Department of Homeland security should add them to the list.

Al-Queda
Dallas Fans
Hezbollah
Philly Fans
Hamas
etc...

The National Anthem sucks.
What a useless piece of propagandist rhetoric that is.
I'm actually sick of hearing it at every freaking sporting event.
I'd bet the athletes feel the same way, whether or not they would admit to it.

Dallas fans are still scum of the earth, but the National Anthem has nothing to do with it.

Ummmm....ok....

So who sang it?

I agree with everyone who says that the person who sang the National Anthem did a terrible job. It is a good thing that Simon Cowell wasn't there to judge her. I don't think anyone should boo the anthem, but then again I don't think anyone should slaughter the anthem like that either.

I dunno CLL, she looked like some American Idol reject.

I'm simply using it as yet another means to bash the cowgirls and their fans...or is the appropriate term followers?

Is this it?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q98BuAX2T0U

If so, it's Kat DeLuna.(?)

And if so, then part of me agrees that she deserved the boos. That had to be the worst rendition of the Nat' Anthem I've heard done at a major event.

True True, My bad. I make that mistake some time when talking to out of towners. I live in Garland(The town King of the Hill was based on). Its the same as most Texans don't know the redskins play in....is it Landover, Maryland? Well, Its not D.C.

By the way, make sure you know who you are talking to before running your gums. I hope you are OK from the hurricane, we helped you. We're suppose to be brothers. Unlike D.C. during Katrina....

What would you say about a Cowboy fan who came to the Hogs site after ST was murdered by thugs who broke in his house to steal his stuff and shot him in cold blood leaving one of their heroes and stars dead and his child fatherless and told Redskin fans on the Redskin site it was ST's own fault? Would that be a "brother?"

Or Texas during Katrina. The state and local governments could not wait to get those people out.

OK, back to the Cowboys fans. I believe they booed the singing. Me? I was taught to sit silent...but that was a long time ago.

And, regarding the (irrelevant) discussion of Katrina and Gustav and Ike, I know from my son that Guard troops from as far away as Missouri helped with Ike. Also that even more volunteered to help. And both the New York and NJ National Guard sent troops and equipment to Louisiana for Gustav...and probably for Ike.

I think all the state NG's helped as much as possible. Katrina was a mess because a lot of units were in Iraq, but Gustav and Ike show how people will help each other.

C'mon welch, they're Cowpies fans, don't cut them any slack. They booed the Anthem, not the singer.
