Shouldn't he be figuring out how the rest of the league is shaping up today instead of watching the highlights on SportsCenter?

Wouldn't he have done that for Gibbs first?

Zorn you're 0-1 and you're all alone in dead last in the nfc east; wtf are you doing?

Zorn rides or runs daily. What's the difference where he does it, or who he does it with?

I understand that Gibbs played raquetball with him. Does that count?

Jim Zorn (R), head coach of the NFL's Washington Redskins, departs the White House after returning from a Sunday morning bike ride with U.S. President George W. Bush in Washington September 7, 2008
I seriously doubt he missed much.

I don't see it as a big deal. It took maybe 3 hours out of his day?

If we dont complete a pass until the end of the 1st half in this weeks game...it'll be an issue then...

Zorn said early in the off-season that he's not setting up a cot in his office like JG did. The man's going to have some down time. Anyone who's been under the pressure of working 24/7 knows that down time is necessary whenever possible. Cut the man some slack.

And clearly it's not like that 24/7 work-a-thons translate into offensive efficiency and proper time management anyway.

It's easy to "see the light" thru burgandy and gold colored glasses.

And you don't have to be smart or qualified either.

Poor judgment due to the fact that he is a West Coast guy not used to be in the limelight of Washington DC. I hope he -LEARNS- that in this town you are more scrutinized on every move than in ANY other town in the entire USA.

As long as the team lose, things like this will be an issue.
When he wins fans will "cut him some slack".

Redskins.com wrote:Zorn also commented on his weekend ride with the President, although he seemed mildly surprised at the level of interest it generated. “You know,” he said, “I like to bike ride. Mister President read that and invited me out.” Zorn repeatedly emphasized the degree of difficulty of the ride, and focused on the athletic elements of the whole thing. “With him it’s very competitive, and you have to earn the right to be out there.” No football strategy was discussed, he claimed. In Zorn’s telling, the whole thing sounds surprisingly low-key, like, hey, if you like to ride bikes, sometimes you get to ride with the President.
Zorn exercises all the time, have you seen the shape he's in? It always kills me to see coaches preaching the importance of exercise and staying healthy to the players while they're eating a donut with their guts hanging over their belts. Doesn't set a very good example.
If Zorn had worked out by himself, it would've been alright. But since he took a
MORNING ride with the President, all of a sudden he's not engaged and isn't focused on the team. Yeah right.

Bush heard we bombed in New York on Thursday, and he called for Zorn, to see if he should be sent to Gitmo.
