Did anyone see the end of the Pats/Chiefs game? The officials REALLY blew that call. Goofy Dan Dierdorf incorrectly called it a good defensive play.
There is what is called a "throw behind" pass designed specifically for situations like KC was in. In a throw behind the receiver runs hard off the line and gets into the endzone about 4 or 5 yards and works his way back to the front of the endzone. Huard throws the ball where it needs to be and as Dwayne Bowe works his way back to the front of the endzone, O'Neal is CLEARLY holding down Bowe's left arm WHILE THE BALL IS IN THE AIR. The last time I checked this is a text book example of PI. No call and since it was 4th down, game over. HORRIBLE

If you're mad at your kid, you can either raise him to be a nose tackle or send him out to play on the freeway. It's about the same. ~Bob Golic
It's really amazing how many times pass interference fails to get called
It's also really amazing how many times a RB gets great yardage becuse someone is holding on the play and it never gets called.
get over it - it happens on every play - sometimes you're the bug and somtimes you're the windshield - this is the NFL and calls are missed on every play

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I agree calls are missed all of the time, but that doesn't make it right. That wasn't a borderline call, it was obvious. And it most likely would have sent the game to overtime since the ball would be placed at the 1 yard line. I'm sure the KC Chiefs will get the old "sorry about that" letter from the league today.
The officials want to get it right isn't that why we have replay, because they want to get it right? I know in this case it's not reviewable.
