Frag-12 shotgun round is a series of special purpose shotgun grenades, including high explosive blast, fragmentation, and HEAP grenades intended to be fired from any 12-ga shotgun. It has been proposed as an armament for modern UAVs and is currently being tested for military deployment.

I've seen a documentary on this.

that automatic 12 ga is developed by blackwater. it is fully automatic, has hardly any recoil as compared to a regular 12 ga and holds 20 rounds.

it would be totally illegal to posess, but i totally don't care. i want one. they said the cost was about $4000 on the documentary.

flippin' awesome.

Its my second favorite weapon, behind only the Mark-19 Automatic grenade launcher. Firing that was the highlight of my military career, although making a homemade Bungalor Torpedo with two engineering stakes and 9 pounds of C-4 was close.

I'm still impressed with the .50Cal with depleted uranium Sabot rounds myself.

But the Mark-19, the M-11, this item, and several others all have their points of interest. All the best weapons are either illegal or impossible to conceal, and usually both.

Anything made with 9 pounds of C-4 would be a highlight. There's nothing like a "WHUMP!" that you can feel in your soul.

That will definitely kill people.

OK, so I know nothing about guns. Each of those impacts is a mini-frag grenade explosion?

Yes. Each would mess up your day.

It would depend on whether you are Chuck Norris or not.

You could always back yourself with a few of these, if your aim is a little suspect.

23 pounds of C-2 does most any job.

That's fine, if you happen to have an opponent who weighs between 158 and 338 Kg, which is the pressure required to actuate the fuze on the M15 AT mine. For the record, that's between 347 and 743 lb. That'd be a really big opponent. The explosive is Composition B, btw, a combination of RDX and TNT, with a small amount of parafin used as a binder.

It'd probably be a tad more affective if you buried it, too.

I was being sarcastic to a large (a very large) degree, but it is possible to change out the M120 fuse and the Belleville Spring for something a little more reactive. Nobody will be shooting at anything by holding an M-15.

I knew that... I was just surprised that you didn't use an M18A1 for your photo...

I don't think anyone would be firing a Claymore from the hip either.

Useful only if it comes with a C130 and flight crew.

I saw that the other day. I am very impressed with the auto-programming of the air burst round. They took my fave and improved it 10-fold -- especially with the lighter materials.
