The National Football League is set to unveil its first "Fan Code of Conduct" for patrons in its stadiums and parking lots, USA TODAY learned Tuesday.
According to a copy of the code, obtained by USA TODAY, drunk and "disruptive" fans can be ejected from stadiums or parking lots without refund — and stripped of their season tickets. The same goes for fans who verbally or physically harass other fans, use obscene language or gestures or interfere with the game by throwing objects onto the field. Fans who become drunk or unruly during pregame tailgating will not be allowed into stadiums.
The rest is at the link above.
Welp, I guess we won't be setting any attendance records this year if they're stopping the drunks from even getting into the stadium. 2/5 of the stadium will be gone by the 3rd quarter.

This pisses me off!! I had every right to throw my trash at Tiki and Jeremy when I was in dream seats!! The only way it could have been better was if it was the Cowboys instead of the Giants!!

I don't think that Goodell's plan will make much of a difference. Owners make a lot of loot off of beer sales. It will be up to each team how they want to handle "drunks."

Totally agreed. Sounds like an empty threat to me. No way in hell are you going to be able to stop fans from tailgating and getting drunk before the game. Nor will you not allow them into your stadium to buy more beer and concessions during the game. Nor will you kick them out. ITS FOOTBALL GOODELL! GET A FRIGGIN LIFE! darn hatters!

So, does this mean Eagles games will be blacked out because no one will be allowed in the stadium?

Football is not synonymous with ignorant drunks screaming obscenities and making the game unsuitable for young children.
It's not acceptable that any child has to be subjected to the nonsense that goes on at Fedex, its not fair that fans are hesitant to take their children to see the Redskins.
If you can be drunk and behave yourself, then great. If you're acting like a fool, fighting, cursing up a storm and acting belligerent... I guess I'll see you after the game cus apparently you'll be getting put out and potentially having your tickets removed.
And trust me, there's plenty of rule abiding fans that will jump at the chance to take those seats.

Thank you, CLL...
it's about making The Linc safe for Chief Zee and Santa.
If you don't get that, then you don't get it. Drunken jerks who ruin it for families have no place at these venues. It's about time the league took a firm stand on this.

I've seen a few fights at FedEx started by Redskins fans, too, so don't start handing out halos just yet....

I was thinking the exact same thing...you totally beat me to it. LOL.

Isn't that why they have a jail at the Linc?

That was to collect fines for the City of Philadelphia. Santa and Zee would still have to petition for medical expenses...

I agree with you completly. There have been a few times that the Redskins have played the Raiders in Oakland and I have wanted to go see the games but can't because you can't even go to the bathroom in peace. The fans are crazy there. Its about time they do something like this. People think its ok to go to a game and act like animals. I hope this actually works.

Comparing the occasional drunken thuggery at FedEx with the down right hooliganism of the Linc is like comparing the murder rate of Fairbanks, Alaska with... well, with DC.

I"m not going to argue levels of severity, my point is still valid.

In DC at least, that's completely bass-ackwards.
