Should the redskins go after Lynch?
He's a solid vet who knows where to go and can also be a HUGE mentor for Laron Landry.
I do like Doughtry......but i just dont really think hes a starter this season, he did alright filling in for the late great sean taylor but i think to bring in a guy like Lynch just makes us even more ready for a strong push to the playoffs this year.
Also he would cost us maybe a 5th pick. who cares.
what u guys think?

I would say no. I like the secondary we have now. I think we have a nice talent pool and we have adequate depth with what we have. We also have very little cap space.

Serious answer: No.
Lynch was overrated in Denver. Lynch was over-priced in Tampa. Lynch is over the hill, overrated and over-priced now.
No strong safety should average fewer than 50 solo tackles per season for their entire career.

Only if we get him free at vet's minimum. No way can he start for us.

He was once a pretty good player. He'd lost a step by Denver and he's lost another one from that now and he's in a position you need the speed.

the folks who start these threads about signing over the hill players are the same ones who hammer Snyder for signing these guys...
NO TO LYNCH! He can't cover anyone (and couldn't 5 years ago) and if Denver is ready to get rid of him, then he's done! NO
