Defensive linemen Jevon Kearse, Cornelius Griffin and Robaire Smith, cornerbacks Shawn Springs and Troy Vincent, tight end Walter Rasby and punter Chris Gardocki are among the players the Redskins are set to pursue when the market opens Wednesday morning

This is a list of players from an article on ESPN by the AP. Any thoughts on these players. Any punter is better than Barker!!

Walter is a good solid blocking TE. He receiving skills are adequate.

Rasby was washed up when we had him three years ago. Snyder can do better...

I think we should get Lebron JAMES. He would jump over all would be tacklers

For that matter - why not Shaq as tight end :) he wouldn't even have to jump to make a catch and I would hate to be a 5'10" DB trying to cover him...

Seriously, maybe get Bruener... Mangum?

Steeler fans think its a mistake to get rid of him. Most think he took the fall for the injury plaqued line last season.

I am sorry but I do not think I could stand having Troy Vincent on the Skins. I know the Cowboys are our biggest rivals but there is something about Philly that does not sit well with me. Personally I want Springs as our replacement for Champ. I truly believe our defensive line issues can be addressed through free agency but it would be criminal to pass on Sean Taylor if he is still available with the 5th pick. I say solid corners and the next great safety.

If anyone has seen some good evidence as to who the Giants are going to pick I would really appreciate an update.

Welcome to the board HSII... nice to have you aboard.

I agree about Vincent, but mainly due to his age and his dollars. If he is willing to go cheaper and sit behind Smoot and Springs/Winfield... ok. He is a leader and a hitter. He would do well as a nickel back. I just think we have better places to put large dollars.
