RED FLAG ON LARON LANDRY.....?

S. Springs and L. Landry are no shows at OTA's
Landry, however, is just a second-year player and as I wrote on the blog a few weeks ago, there were already some minor red flags cropping up about him this offseason. He has not been around the facility much and some are concerned about his attitude. Both of these players are vital to the success off the secondary, and thus the defense as a unit.
Can you really believe all that JLC prints ........???

I'm sure there's no chance this is an excused absence ...

... didn't we go through this same crap with JLC last year where, like the bratty little tattletale, he tried to point fingers and it turned out to be legit absences?

While Zorn and defensive coordinator Greg Blache said that they hadn't heard from the missing defensive backs, teammates said they had heard from them and that each had missed his flight.

Hope you're right. These things always make me nervous, no matter who is printing them.

If the Redskins hated the Washington Post before, Mr. (J)umping (L)aRon's (C)redibility certainly isn't improving relations.

The cup asked: "didn't we go through this same crap with JLC last year where, like the bratty little tattletale"
JLC is just warming up in preperation for training camp.
Springs stays in the desert all off season, so this is nothing new. And what was he referring to? When he said:
there were already some minor red flags cropping up about him this offseason.

Head coach Jim Zorn said Shawn Springs and LaRon Landry were not in attendance at Monday's OTA practice.
"They had the opportunity to be here and chose not to [attend]," Zorn said.
Santana Moss was excused from Monday's OTA due to the flu.
The OTAs are voluntary for players to attend, although Zorn jokingly likes to say they are "voluntary mandatory."
Zorn said he planned to telephone both Springs and Landry to get a read on their plans.
"I want to get a feel for why they decided not to come," Zorn said. "I also know that we have great participation here. [Springs and Landry] did participate in the first eight practices [in early May]. It is not something that I am going to make a huge spectacle of. We will just see what happens.
"I don't want to really comment because if I said I was really disappointed, and they had a legitimate reason for not coming, then I would mis-speak. So I'm going to try not to do that."
Springs, an 11-year veteran, did not attend any OTA sessions last year. Landry is in second season in the NFL.
Defensive coordinator Greg Blache had the quote of the day regarding Springs and Landry.
"I have to worry about the guys who are here," Blache said. "It's like you guys in the media--you're probably worrying about the girlfriends that left you instead of worrying about the people that love you.
"You take care of the people that love you. You don't worry about the ones that left."

I'll have you know I can suck the life out of any thread.
Truthfully, I thought it would be nice to have Jim Zorn and Greg Blache's opinions over JLC's usual "Hate On The Redskins" take.

LaRon Landry is back at Redskins Park and participating in Tuesday's OTA practice.
Landry missed Monday's practice due to an undisclosed reason.
The 6-0, 213-pound safety is in his second NFL season. He was drafted by the Redskins with the sixth overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.
He proved to be a burgeoning talent, finishing his rookie campaign with 97 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He also logged two interceptions in the Redskins' Wild Card playoff game at Seattle.
Santana Moss was also back at Redskins Park on Tuesday. He also missed Monday's OTA practice due to the flu.
The only player absent is Shawn Springs

Landry is the man! I don't really care if he misses a practice now and then.
On NFL.com they have made a list of "Who Might make their first Pro Bowl in 2008" And Landry is #2 on the list. Sweet.
Even though the Pro Bowl don't mean much IMO. But if a Skin makes the list, Its great to see somone on the team getting some credit.
