I just want 2 see how other people think and agree or disagree but the redskins have so many weapons on offense like moss, thomas, randle el, portis, betts, kelly, davis, decent offensive line and good when healthy and a great quarterback who needs 2 step up in tight situations or defense so many great players smoot, landry washington, fletcher, macintosh, griffen when healthy, carter, springs, rogers, doughty

just so many weapons and people getting off injury, i see us as the colorado rockies making the world series kinda season this coming year

I'm thinking 16-0! Then we'll finish the job the Pats couldn't and win 3 more.

I feel sorry for no one.
Screw 'Em.
I'm going to enjoy watching the Redskins stomp a mudhole in everyone's arses.

Don't get excited there are a lot of "unknown's" such as rookie's, new coach, who is going to get injured. haha
I am excited too.

There will be plenty of time to complain later. Nothing but positive thoughts until the season starts.

I dont feel sorry for no team.

Fact is this team can take any win they can get.The past three years it has been 10-6,5-11, 9-7 we are lucky to have gotten in at 9-7. We also happen to have the SuperBowl champions in the same division , in which we play two times a year. We also have the C girls who went to the NFC championship game. The Iggles who had Mcnabb injured last year and is now back to full strength. We need all the help we can get, take every game we can. No need for pity , I will be happy with just not giving away games and taking what our team earns.

This thread got me excited so I did a quick recap of our schedule with my predictions for each game...

Sep. 04, at N.Y. Giants -- Giants will be too cocky - we win.
Sep. 14, New Orleans -- we're home, saints are not scary - we win
Sep. 21, Arizona -- Cards at home, we better win -- we win
Sep. 28, at Dallas -- oops, cowboys at their place -- we lose
Oct. 05, at Philadelphia -- could be back to back losses -- we lose
Oct. 12, St. Louis -- Rams are not good, we're home -- we win
Oct. 19, Cleveland -- defense better be ready at home -- we win
Oct. 26, at Detroit -- Lions are horrible -- we win
Nov. 03, Pittsburgh -- toughest call so far -- we're home, so -- we win
Nov. 10, 2008 Bye
Nov. 16, 2008 Dallas -- ugh, I'll be hopeful since we're home -- we win
Nov. 23, 2008 at Seattle -- long flight after a tough home game -- we lose
Nov. 30, 2008 N.Y. Giants -- can't take them twice -- we lose
Dec. 07, 2008 at Baltimore -- they have no QBs -- we win
Dec. 14, 2008 at Cincinnati -- if we don't win, I'll go to jail! -- we win
Dec. 21, 2008 Phila -- we're on a roll, lost to eggles already - we win
Dec. 28, 2008 at SF -- long flight after a tough home win -- we lose.

I have us at 11-5 but could see us getting swept by the Boys and ending up 10-6.

Well the Lions aren't happy with playing us again!!!

October 26 - vs. Washington Redskins

As much as I'd like to say this is Detroit's chance for vengeance after being beat 34-3 a year ago against the 'Skins, I can't say that at all. Washington is clearly the better team in this game and the final score will reflect that.

The Redskins' offense had their way with Detroit's defense a year ago and it could be even worse this time around. Jason Campbell has more experience under his belt and now has a few extra happens thanks to the draft. On top of that, Clinton Portis, if healthy, is a great running back that can rack up a few TDs with ease.

On paper: Advantage Redskins

Prediction: Washington wins this one easily, leaving Lions fans confused as their team has now fallen to 4-3 after a perfect start. If the collapse comes this early in the year leaving time to pick up the pieces, I'll be happy. Although the schedule doesn't get much easier, Detroit plays at home three times in November, which should give the Lions a small kick in the rear to get things going again.

I'm still just waiting for two season in a row over .500. That hasn't happened for quite a while.

That would be great, but I like the positive energy in this thread. We're undefeated until we're not!
