Alexander's out...Duckett, Jones In

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Alexander's out...Duckett, Jones In

Post by spudstr04 »

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that the Seahawks agreed to terms with Julius Jones. Terms aren't disclosed.

This should end the Shaun Alexander era shortly. It's a dream scenario for Jones, who gets a surprise chance to start again on a productive offense. Seattle could add a rookie, but Jones should play ahead of T.J. Duckett and Maurice Morris. Jones regressed in Dallas, but he's an upgrade from Alexander and could mature late like his brother. Like any starter in Seattle, he'll get consideration as a RB2.

WOW, that happened quick. Didn't Holmgren just say that Alexander was still their guy about 2 weeks ago. I still think Alexander has game left, but he just can't stay healthy.
