I'm more suprised by this move than I was with Zach Thomas' release.
I'd be so disappointed if I was a Falcons fan. And Warrick Dunn and Lawyer Milloy may be on the chopping block as well. Ouch.

The Dolphins and Falcons cleaning house at the early stages of re-building programs. This is REAL dangerous ...
... What a temptation at Redskins Park! (or a few posters around here)

A few are worth a look if they are cheap. We could use some depth at DT, esp if Alexander switches to OL & TE with only 3 signed TE's on roster.

Crumpler is a good TE. But I'll wager he already has an offer on his plate. Just wait. Some team in the NFC South will sign him just so the Falcons can't resign him for less.

here.

The Panthers are probably going to get him. They're both interested. He wants to play for them and has since his days as a Tar Heel.

The Panthers plan to explore the possibility of signing Crumpler once the tight end officially appears on the NFL waiver list, according to the Charlotte Observer.
Crumpler was released as part of a seven-player purge by the Falcons on Feb. 15. Carolina offensive coordinator Jeff Davidson made a lot of noise about getting the tight ends more involved in the passing game when he was hired before last season.
Seattle is also believed to be interested in Crumpler.
