B.Lloyd will NOT be back....

...tell me something I didn't know!

The Washington Post's Jason La Canfora quotes sources who say there is "no way" Brandon Lloyd will get his roster bonus this spring.

Lloyd has been a tremendous bust for the Redskins, and dumping his salary will be a good first step as the Redskins try to attain a stud receiver this offseason. It is believed the team would heavily pursue either Chad Johnson (by trade) or Randy Moss (if not franchised) if they become available.

I like, no make that love, the possibility of Chad Johnson, Berrian, or Moss coming here. We need a game-breaker at the WR position and it would help us mold into the West Coast Offense too.

Who is Brandon Lloyd? Oh, that one receiver that either never really got a chance! I got it now.

Hey, just because it's reported doesn't mean it's true! Remember, everyone thinks that the Skins want every big name player despite our relative restraint over the last four years.

If you can explain a way it can be done in a financially responsible manner that does not give up any first day draft picks, I’m all for it.

I want Larry

Yea.But I just herd that if he is than he just recently said he wants to be an Shegles. And we don't want a guy like that against us every year.

As for a new proven WR like he mentioned:

R.Moss-Would love him the best WR in this era and would help JC alot but unfortunately,he won't get the ball alot like he did with the vikes nor pats.

Chad Johnson-Loves our players but well cause trouble. He would want money and i don't think he'll be to happy here.

Roy Williams*WR*-Well be traded.I don't see why not although he did have some injury concerns but would love him in D.C.

But lets save our picks .For Moss and Chad I'm sure well cost us 2 heavily picks.

Cincinnati Pro Bowl WR Chad Johnson wants to be traded. There's really no denying it. He's doing every TV and radio show possible at the media circus that is the Super Bowl, letting it be known that his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, is "The Shark" and working on finding ways to make Johnson more happy.

Sure, Johnson hasn't come right out and said publicly that he wants out, but the spectacle he is making of himself is clearly intended to put pressure on the Bengals to do something with him, as to this point Coach Marvin Lewis has said he will not trade the highly talented but enigmatic wideout.

Don't be surprised to the see the Redskins as major players in the sweepstakes to land him should the Bengals shop him around. He has been discussed by owner Daniel Snyder and executive vice president Vinny Cerrato at length and his name came up frequently in conversations with coaching candidates, league sources said, expecting the Redskins to make a concerted push if he hits the market

We may need a "stud" position player this and a "stud" that. We may give away 1st picks and get into further cap hell signing names rather than players but the ONLY common denominator among ALL of us is :

A TOTAL LACK IN CONFIDENCE IN DAN SNYDER AND VINNY CERRATO!!!

We need a "STUD" General Manager with complete control over the team. [-o<

The rest is secondary. :explode:

If we are going after Moss and Oldo Cinco......I think.......

Deion Sanders! Makes perfect sense.....Neon Deon can line up on both sides of the ball and return kicks...sweet.

Or Micheal Irvin.....dude still has wheels and Snyder has the money for him......

Hopefully Dan knows by now that you dont need to go out and get a name......you need the next Chad Johnson or Randy Moss......save the cap space and draft pick and make a quality choice........We need youth at LB,DE, CB, OL and RB IMO..........
Fitzgerald would be the only name Fa wideout Id pursue cuz he has gas left in his tank

I'll take Larry over anyone else.
As for Lloyd...to play devils advocate...he was drafted by mooch if I remember correctly.

I have been critical of B Lloyd as many of you have. However, I have been kicking around a theory that his problem with us hasn't all been due to lack of skill but maybe just didn't click with the old regime. If we do run the West Coast he may prosper. It is a system that he has played in before and did well. He's not a cheap cut. If we can get something out of him and be able to keep draft picks instead of giving them to the Bengals, I say keep him and see how he fits in with the new staff.

Randy Moss would never sign with the Redskins. He likes it in NE catching all those TD's from Brady. NFW does he come here....not for all of the tea in China.
