I have to be honest, this is not looking good. What is most troubling, regardless if they make the right move on this coach or not (and only time will tell) is that the organizational structure is seriously flawed.

Snyder made billions in the private sector and undoubtedly has some sense of business acumen...I'll give him that. He is a huge fan of the Skins...great. But being a fan doesn't qualify you to run the front office.

Freaking look at the Patriots...how many personnell decisions has Kraft made? Ever? That seems like a pretty damn good blue-print...hire a guy that knows football and have HIM pick the coach.

If you're the owner...write the checks and get the HELL out of the way.

JKC was a perfect example when he had Beathard and Gibbs teamed up.

IT SHOCKS ME THAT SNYDER CAN'T SEE THIS.

Particularly being such a loyal Redskins fan that followed the team in the 80's. Can't he look in the mirror and say..."Hmmm, what worked so well in the 80's?"

The teams around the league that have the owners calling all the shots are the most dysfunctional (see: Raiders, Cowboys, Redskins and Falcons).

It's painfully obvious that Snyder is not well-equipped to run the show and Cerrato isn't much better. THIS IS SAD.

Back around Christmas, I heard a show where the question was "If you could buy one thing for your favorite team to make it better next year, what would it be?"

Simple. To make the Redskins better, I would (if I could) buy the Redskins.

And, at the risk of blasphemy, Jerry Jones ain't lookin' so bad right about now.

I'll say it again: Snyder is another George Preston Marshall. Showman and team-wrecker.

As I try to sort through this Snyder issue...I keep thinking about the possibilities.

Honestly...Snyder could (if he chose) be THE best owner in the NFL. He has extremely deep pockets and a passion for the Redskins.

The financial wherewithal is an extremely advantagous aspect to Snyder. There are many NFL fans with cheap owners who would love to have a high roller like Snyder.

Jerry will screw the Cowboys back up. That is why he hired a puppet as coach. They won this year on talent alone. Talent that Parcells brought in. In 2 years the Cowboys will be back at 6-10 or 7-9.
