HB III

Well, apparently the third time's the charm. After two seasons of bowing out early, I finally made it to the big dance. Mursilils put up a good fight, just couldn't overcome that 60 point deficit in the second half (the over, indeed!

).
Congratulations to TRO for actually Hognosticating the G-strings (it shoulda been the Skins) victory.
I really don't know who to root for. Too bad they can't both lose.
Since I am in the Show, a neutral third party will be selected to receive our PMed picks for the SB. I'm guessing it will be 1niksder, but I haven't asked him yet, so I can't say for sure.

I'm still wondering about that myself. What
was I thinking?!?! The week before the games, I knew the weather was going to be bitter cold, but I remembered that the GB/Seattle game went 60+ points in a near-blizzard, so I figured the points would be higher, but I should have known - that game was an anomaly, not the start of a trend. Oh well, there's always next year!

How long do I have to make my pick?
Nobody thought I could make it this far.
The #6 seed is set to make history in HBIII.

This Forum is going to the dump the day we ALL are
lower than Redeemed in this board.
JSPB, our reputation is in your hands man.

IMO, this thread needs a poll.
What good is a championship game, without a poll?
I need some more bulletin board material.

You've got your poll, now how about making your picks? I know you're scared, but what are you really waiting on? It's not like there are multiple games. We know you are picking the Patsies, just come up with a point total.
P.S. I will be out of the country for the game, so don't be offended if I don't gloat over my victory right away.

Deadskin you cannot run away to another country to avoid your Super Bowl HBIII defeat.
My pick is in, and, like Eli, I will rise to the occasion against the heavy favorite.

I cannot believe this -

- are you kidding me? I hate the Patriots (actually I hate the giants too) but there is absolutely no way that Eli can carry this team to victory, sorry!
The giants are going to get scorched in this game
They couldn't get it done in that stupid stadium with that terrible weather - they have no chance on a fast track against this offense.
I doubt that the Patriots will look or show any formation on offense or defense that is the same as anything the giants saw in week 17 - NOT ONE!
thank you for preserving your position of "also ran" in the hognostications here
you will be just like the giants after this game - sniff, sniff, "well at least I made it to the dance. wait till next year ... " sniff, sniff

So, it now results that the statement below was notr only PREMATURE but downright WRONG:

Sheeeeeeeshhh Redeemed, a poster has to put its mouth and its faith in the same place. Not good man, not good.

Well, I'm not sure who had the under. But, if I was the under, then I stand by my comment, I did rise up like Eli against a more dominant opponent.
I never claimed I picked the Giants to win, only play hard.

It is a competition between 1nik and Snyder. I hope it takes less to post the results of the HB III by 1nik than to pick a HC by the Danny clown.

Yes, I can hang my hat on that one.
This is probably my last Hognostications season, and I can't wait to see fI won HB III or not.
It'd be nice to go out on top.

Only one other soul believed I could do it.
Like Eli, I found a way to pull out a win. I escaped the grasps of sure defeat, and now I hold the HB Trophy on high."
And yes, y'all ended up "lower than REDEEMED".

Was this somehow foreshadowing the crazy Zorn hire and JSPB22's mysterious disappearance?
Crazy.
BTW, How you doing down there, my Canadian friend?
(Raises HB III Trophy in the air.)
