The Redskins Encyclopedia by Michael Richman. It details the team's history year by year. I especially liked learning about the 30's and 40's.
RIP Sean Taylor 1983-2007
RIP Kevin Mitchell 1971-2007
RIP Justin Skaggs 1979-2007
RIP Sammy Baugh 1914-2008

I got that one for Christmas this past year, good stuff there.
I saw this sign posted once, it said, 'blasting zone ahead'. Wow... shouldn't that read: 'Road Closed'? - Brian Regan

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Something interesting I found while reading the Redskins Encyclopedia; Sean Taylor isn't the first Redskins in-season death the franchise has suffered.

Here is the excerpt from the book:

From the 1954 season:
The situation worsened. After beating the Steelers, 17-14, the Redskins lost to the Cardinals, Eagles, and Browns, to fall to 2-9. To compound their problems, 26-year old tackle David Sparks suffered a heart attack a few hours after the second loss to Cleveland and dropped dead. The Redskins organization was stunned and dedicated the season finale to Sparks.

I had never heard of this before, which is one reason I wanted the book, so I could learn new things about this franchise. I'm sure at the time, the fans and players were just as devastated about David as we were in November about Sean.
