16-years of my young life and I haven't seen or gotten a taste to have a close capture of us being in the superbowl.I expected us to beat Seattle(Overrated) and we failed .We didn't look like the team in the last 4 games O no we looked like the team 6 weeks into the season that couldn't finish games. But when are we gonna win a superbowl?.Ive waited 16 years(and still counting ).

So heres the question what year are we gonna win it?.I'm happy we didn't go to far this year but a Shehawks win is all i wanted to see.But after this year this came to mind(HEY WHERE 9-7 this year but we might not see Rocky or Rogers play all year next year) than this came to mind what if we don't make the playoffs next year?.What if JC plays horrible next year and I mean its frustrating.Every one looks at us as the bad guys and say where fluke.Im tired ot that.WHEN ARE WE GONNA WIN A SUPERBOWL....just 1 superbowl live in my life.Than I would be a happy man for ever.I dont care.

If you're 16 then he have won a Superbowl in your life.

You act as though winning a superbowl is an entitlement. There are a bunch of teams that have never won a superbowl, and only a handful that have won multiples. There are 31 other teams that are trying to win a superbowl as well.

Repeat.... these are the NFL teams that have NOT won a Superbowl.

Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals, and the Seattle Seahawks

Ya.But this is 2008.Its good enough having 3 superbowls but other teams are catching up fast.Where 16 years over due of another one.You probably seen a superbowl win at your age but at my age, with the worst kinds of people to rub it in ,in my school ...it hurts. And they get in your face to about it .Now all off season we gotta hear"LOL Seahawks beat you guys again''.I mean Im so mad ..my grammar has gone ,to a improvement that I couldn't even define the term "spelling".

But you do have a point, atleast we made the wild cards instead of hearing people say''when was the last time you guys been to the playoffs?''.

All I've wanted over that last 7 (or more) years is for the Skins to no longer be the laughing stocks of the league. Since Snyder's purchase of the team we have been an afterthgought. We have been constantly predicted to finish last in the division, with a 4-12 record, etc. I just want that air of disrespect do away.

It has.

With the way that we closed out the year, after going to the playoffs in two of the last three years, Joe Gibbs has once again made this club respectable. Once again the games that we play in December mean something.

Thats all I really want....another Superbowl would be nice. But I'm just happy to once again we feared!

No no no Im 16 in a late birthday.I was born but I couldnt even see,or listen to what the term"redskins was".But in all terms now that I think of it,we had no shot winning the superbowl this year.If we struggled with the seahawks and won(if we did) than we would have no chance at the Pats.Well be better next year-for the better. But I'm very mad we killed our selves again.Whats even worst and this is why Im really mad''my FATHER said that we have won''......and I came rushing in at my CPU to just hear we lost. And now My girl wont even sleep with me since we had a lil bet.And now I have to owe my chump friend 20 dollars. But thats just me.....should of never gambled.

To win a Superbowl we will need to be both lucky and good.

We cannot sneak into the playoffs with a wildcard spot and expect to go very far. We need to play well enough to win home field advantage. To win home field advantage we need to play with attitude -- we cannot crumble in the second half like we did so often this season.

We need to be lucky enough to keep almost all of our starters healthy. In the event we lose starters to injury, we need to have good quality backups. Our backups stepped up this year, but they had to play too much -- that limited our ability to rotate people in and keep everyone fresh, especially on the OL.

The early losses of Jansen and Thomas this year were huge. Portis is a good back, but without first rate blockers we cannot rely on him to be effective in crunch time. Without good blockers he will be inconsistent and the running machine will stall when it really matters. At that point it doesn't really matter whether your running back in CP or Rock Cartwright.

I hope the Redskins upgrade the offense this offseason. We need a big physical WR and depth on the OL. Surely GW will want to add depth to the secondary, but I think the offense has to be a priority. Teams can win and be effective with a no-name defense, but nobody has ever heard of a Superbowl-caliber no-name offense.

Hail Redskins -- I am proud of you for what you accomplished this year. Where other teams would have quit, you fought to the end, you never stopped believing.

You have a great point.Actually to be honest we have something to look very forward to next year.Collins did good and Im happy he didn't take us far cause I feared we would of started him next year (which probably would of worked)but JC is the answer, and its very exciting to see us next year.Your right where not gonna be laughed at but a delicious revenge against the ''hawks''well put a smile on my face. 9-7 is a heck of alot better than 5-11.Landry-Doughty-McIntosh-Montgomery-Goldston has all impressed me and has gotten a sample of how a playoff game was.So I'll be looking forward to the new additions and JC progression.

We've been to 5 in my lifetime, although I don't remember watching the first one. If you are 16 then you still have a long life ahead of you. It will happen. Sometimes it happens out of nowhere. Think about the Cubs in baseball. They have barely been competitive most of the years of my life, but their fans are still passionate. Hang in there.

I still feel cheated about our last SB win. I was in Okinawa at the time and there were not any true Skins fans there. Just the run of the mill bandwagon guys.

IF the Redskins make good moves in the off season and IF they have a good draft and draft the right players I think this team will have a great year and make the playoffs in 2008.

Ya,cause Eagles(sadly) well be alot better and from what I hear if some how Randy Moss is a FA than they'll go after him ASAP.

So our division well always be rough but we can do this/

Hey young Jedi,

I just want to say be happy on how the team did this year. Things should only get better from here on out. I hope. At least it is looking good. Two good drafts and this team should be consistently SuperBowl contenders hosting the division game.

Honestly id say 80 percent of the SuperBowl champions were either a number 1 seed or number 2 seed.

That is why it is so impressive to see a wild card team win a SuperBowl. That is truely a tough feat.

Larry fits-Javon Walker-Roy Williams(WR) are all supposly to get released or traded. But either way the Eagles well find one explosive WR this year but I hope it doesn't come to that cause we need one explosive WR also.

I am surprised. You posts read as if you are a lot older something like you had been 30 years in the hood and 10 to 15 doing time.

Seriously man, we are a lot closer than most people think. We are about three key players away.

Just think for a moment: the play designed to beat us in Seattle was a route designed specifically to go against Prioleau. They took advantage of our missing 12th man. Hasselbeck also had enough time to make that play. Dexter Manley Jr will not allow him to wait that long for the play to develop.

I'm hoping for one before I turn 40. I'm 23...so they have time. :)
