This RB has been the best RB Ive seen since Barry Saunders. He is very dangerous and is infact the whole Vikes O along with Chestor. But IMO we can stop him.We got the LB's and DL to do it we just need to look at our O if the O moves the ball we can win.But if we shut down there running game then where gonna pick on that horrible QB Travis Jackson.

You didn't ask "Can we stop him?" You asked "How do we stop him?" Besides, Jacobs didn't score did he? Did the G-Strings win? We tackled him when it counted.

He's getting stopped pretty well so far tonight.

Not really. The Gints self-destructed when they weren't being stopped by the wind. I really don't think we did much to stop them. Maybe we tired them out by letting them run up and down the field. .

AD and Jacobs are two completely different RB's not to mention two totally different sizes. I think we fill the gaps, stick with our assignments and get off blocks we will be fine. We've been decent this past year.

It will be tough though.

Here is where we will really miss on field Sean.......run support.......

Landry has stepped up hopefully thatl be enough

Freddy smoot has been good run support did you see him take on Jacobs andf nearly knock himself out!

We Stop AP by keeping him off the field.CP needs another 100+ yard game and Collins needs to take care of the ball.

I don't think you can shut down Peterson for the whole game, just ask the Bears...but if we can limit his carries, put pressure on the QB, we should pull some turnovers and hopefully turn those into points.

GGGOOOOO Skins!!!!!!

This will be a tough test for our defense.

I suppose we will stack the box with 7-8 man fronts.

I really like how Landry has been stepping up. Other than foolish penalties he looks very good.

The way to stop him is simple on paper. The defense needs to stick to their assignments and fill the gaps. Most importantly, outside contain is paramount. If we can do this, then I feel we have a good chance vs the Viks.

AP is not consistant. However, every time he touches the ball, he has a chance to score. Much like Devin Hester.

AP's avg is high, and that comes from the long TD runs he's had. Almost all the other runs have been for 3 yards or less. In other words, I don't think he will sustain the clock and have long drives. This is why they use Tayler and switch back and forth. Tayler will get their first downs, AP is the one to break long runs for TDs.

I think the Bears played them perfactly. You watch the run first. This worked for the most part.

Both teams had many punts. If we can sustain drives. The vikings are in trouble. And they won't be able to keep up.

Our running game with the combo of our passing DOES sustain drives. We sustained drives much better against the bears than the Vikes did. I see us doing the same again. We just have to makes sure we get TDs out of the drives and not FGs. That will be the key. IMO

And having to play catch-up means having to pass more. We need to score points early and force turnovers on defense. Does anyone know if Bollinger will start the game?

We can stop Adrian Peterson because TAVARIS JACKSON STINKS.

Seriously. The D will do what it can to bog down Peterson and make Jackson beat us in the air. Is anybody afraid of Jackson?

btw. Just a hunch, but I think Collins is going to have a good game on Sunday.

I would say that we take the blueprints from the past two games and use it against the Vikes. Both the Bears and the 49ers stopped him good. I think that if we stack eight men in the box and make Tavairus Jackson beat us, then we will win easily. Just look at last night's game, Jackson threw for 3 picks and fumbled once. If that was our offense instead of the Bears', it would've been a blow-out! I see us easily beating them. They haven't played anybody in their five game win streak (Raiders, Lions, Giants, 49ers, and the Bears) They are a combined 28-42. I just think that we are the best team out of the teams that they have faced. We beat the Giants, Bears, and the Lions. I have no doubt that we could've beaten the 9ers and the Raiders. I really think that we pose the best threat against them and I see us winning 23 to 14.

I'll tell you what, we have a good chance to win this game. After watching T-Jack toss the ball, Taylor would have had about 4 interceptions on his own. Hopefully if Landry can keep the ball in his hands, he'll get around 2.

The loss of Rocky is huge IMO.

Is it going to be T-Jack or Bollinger? T-Jack was injured during the game.

1. Run blitzes off the tackle hole in situations that are not obvious passing downs. Peterson loves to hit the off tackle hole or even outside of it. He doesn't seem to hit the middle as hard.

Even if the blitz misses don't stop the play, it should force Peterson to run parallel to the line of scrimmage for a bit before turning upfield. Hopefully, a safety or CB can pounce.

2. Gang tackle him. Try to get as many helmets on him as possible which means the first potential tackler has to come up and challenge him before he makes a move and rely on his buddies to finish the job while Peterson is dancing around.

Let Jackson throw downfield if he can in this one and shutdown the short throws with man-to-man.

I'm looking for Collins to get us 30, with help from Portis. We have the chance of scoring big if we open it up and don't go into s shell in the second half. Prediction: we will win if the coaches do a good job calling plays.

Watch film from the 9ers and the Bears game, he had 3 yards against the 9ers in a 27-7 win and 78 last night, 8 in the box force jackson to beat us, if anybody watched Monday night Tavaris Jackson should not scare anyone.

Simple:

Feed him an overdose of a strong laxative before the game AND build a brick wall at their 20 yard line.

No, he cannot be stopped. But he can be managed.

If there's one area the Skins excel in it's run defense. No team has had much success running against our D. The Skins will stop Peterson and force Jackson (or Bollinger if Jackson's still hurt) to beat them throwing the ball. We all know the Viqueens aren't a passing team so I like our chances.

If we really want to win bad enough, we just go for his bad knee.

I doubt our team will do something like that though. It does not help that Mcintosh is hurt either. Hopefully Godfrey can take over Washingtons spot and Washington play the weak side or vice versa.
