What would be the Dallas Cowboys record year to date if the following took place

A- Marco Columbo out for seasn game 1(Jansen)
b-Leaonard davis misses games 2-12( Thomas)
c- Anthony henry mid season injury out for year (Rogers)
d Terrel Owens misses 2 games due to injury and plays hurt in 5 other(Moss)
E- Bradie Jmaes misses 4 games due to injury and plays hurt in 3 others (washington)
F- terrance Newman ...misses 2 games due to injury and has his father on a death bed for most of the season that gets National Press
g-----last but not least...There corner stone defensive player for which the entire defense is built around Demarcus Ware gets hurt in week 9 misses 2 and half games then is Killed in home with his family after week 11

Hypothetically, Dallas would still be ahead of Washington at 7-5, and while your point about lost man-games due to injury is valid, the NFL doesn't deal in hypotheticals. The reality is, regardless of the reason(s), the Washington Redskins are 5-7 and very likely out of contention for the post-season. The Dallas Cowboys are 12-1 and likely have both the divison and the conference wrapped up thanks to their win over Green Bay. Any team that goes 12-1 to open the season earns it, even the much hated Dallas Cowboys.

Maybe next season we can discuss how the Redskins are 12-1 and how injuries have affected Dallas. Not this season.

If you also give their starting tailback a bad knee, their #2 receiver a nagging hamstring injury, bench their #3 WR, give their #4 a high ankle sprain. dose their head coach with LSD at the 2:00 minute warning, and have the officials stop giving them every advantage needed in the crunch time of games.

Dallas is a better team than they were last year because they addressed their areas of need (most importantly a new coach) and they have a really good QB.

They stop the run and they can run whenever they want to - real easy to be good in the NFL especially the NFC

Not sure why this post was aimed specifically at Dallas because it would be hard to expect any team in any sport (for that matter) to thrive if afflicted with the misfortune the Skins have had to endure this season. Anytime you see a 12-1 NFL team, you're probably looking at a team that's had the fortune of being healthy, or having the depth to get through injuries. I think both of those are applicable to the Cowboys. We lost our heavy hitter on the DL, Jason Ferguson, in the first week of the season. But we were fortunate enough that Jay Ratliff stepped in and held his own, and the Tank Johnson signing was also huge. Our cornerbacks have had a relatively unhealthy season (Henry hasn't been more than 75% all year - ankle) and because of that Jacque Reeves and even Nate Jones have had to step up. We've given up quite a bit of points, but have just been fortunate enough to have the ability on offense to outscore everyone but the Pats. We're deep at WR so Terry Glenn's absence has not been a factor.

Seems like you're pointing this post at the Cowboys to say that if the Redskins had been totally healthy, they'd be 12-1. While it's totally possible, there's a lot of other things to consider. I'd also question some of your player comparisons, like Owens-Moss. Also while Anthony Henry has been a bookend corner for the Cowboys, Carlos Rogers is more of a nickleback/backup corner.

While I'm definitely not downplaying the effect the lack of health (and other obvious issues) has had on the Skins, I don't know if you can point to other more successful teams and opine that they'd be in the same boat if given the Skins' misfortune.
