No intent to disrespect the deceased but I'm surprised he lived to 69.
I thought that Snake River Canyon jump had killed him 35 or so years ago. When it didn't, I thought the Caesar's Palace incident would. The man must hold some type of record for the most broken bones at one time. Being old like I am, I remember dozens of times when I thought Evel had a death wish.

On the other end of the spectrum, I'm surprised he was only 69. I thought he was older.

That's too bad. I met him once when I was 8 years-old. It was at the original Underground Atlanta, I got an autographed picture and shook his hand. I'll never forget that.
