How many Born-agains does it take to change a light bulb?

Actually, the real question should be, "how long does it take a born-again to change a light bulb?"

Sadly, I think I answered that last night and this morning.

3 hours.

Last night I had to change the headlights on my '99 Honda Civic, and it turned out to be a more difficult task than I anticipated.

I was excited cause I "upgraded" (read: paid more) to new headlight bulbs (since one had burned out), and I had gotten them on sale at "Trak Auto" (Advance's throwback name).

But, boy, was I in for a long night.

I was able to get the right side light changed in no time, since, the area surrounding the bulb is unobstructed, but the driver's side light was a pain in the butt.

I remembered chaging that light two years ago, and remember having the same issue, but not like yesterday.

Honestly, I rarely get "pissed", but yesterday I could have punched a hole in a wall.

It was dark, cold, and my fingers were hurting from the silly metal hook thing that holds the bulb in place.

Thankfully, this morning (with more light), I was able to secure the light in place and now it's fine.

Today, however, I have a backache (from hunching over inside the car), my fingers are sore (from handling the daggone metal thingy), and my left hand is bruised from trying to maneuver my hand around the engine.

Yes, this is totally random, but, I had to vent. Thanks for reading.

Of course, I did learn a lesson:

Don't change bulbs at night. #-o

I had to learn the hard way. Don't let it happen to you.

My suggestion - get a garage and/or mechanic.

You know this could have been a lot more fun if you'd put it in smack.

At first glance I thought TRO was trying to put a lightbulb in a headlamp socket. That would have explained the difficulty.

I'm thinking two and they have to be married, otherwise it's a sin to "change" a light bulb. I'm more flexible on the married (tried it) and the more then two (haven't), but personally I think one person "changing" a light bulb is perfectly fine.

I don't know if it's a rule or anything, but my vision is born-agains only "change" light-bulbs in the dark so I was surprised you were having trouble in the first place.

It's not up to the born again, the light bulb has to want to change.

I was going to say, "Just one. He holds the lightbulb and the world revolves around him."

I think it depends on if the light bulb has accepted Jesus as its personal savior.

Then wouldn't it also depend upon whether or not the receptacle was willing to receive Jesus?

The born again knows there is of course only one true light (bulb)

Jesus is the narrow socket.
