My New Tattoo

Just made an appointment with my guy tomorrow.

I'm getting this tattooed on my the inside of my right forearm, directly below another Redskins tattoo I have.

I so need to do this. It's my way of paying my respects to Sean.

That's a simple, elegant design, JH. It also beats the heck out of that Michael Vick tat that you proposed some time ago....

You and I were thinking the same thing.

I hope you don't think I am biting this idea off you.

I made an appointment today too.

I have a deal with Shepke Studios in Pasadena.

I don't charge him for autograph sigings, and he doen't charge me for ink. (thats why I have so many)

I made the apointment for next week, I just got inked on Sunday and I need to heal.

I guess it won't hurt to have two guys running around with tributes. But then again, I am sure many more will follow.

I'll post the image of my new tattoo later tonight.

Today I called a graphics company nearby.

I ordered a 8' X 2' banner - burgundy with gold lettering with 3 lines:

Rest In Peace
Sean "Meast" Taylor
4/1/83 - 11/27/07

I hope to display this banner at my tailgate beginning with the Bills game. I'll take a picture of it and display it on THN.

For those of you that have never heard of "Meast", that's a nickname given to Sean by his team mates because he was "half man, half beast".

Hey guys, on Saturday I'm going to the t-shirt store to get a custom one done. I'm taking all the dedication/memorial pictures that I've found and having them printed on a plain white t-shirt; I'm going to wear that on Sunday. Take the idea and run with it please.

Okay, here are the photos of my new tattoo. They were taken immediately following getting it so they're a little bloody - sorry. Below the tattoo pictures is a picture of a new BANNER I just ordered and I plan on flying at every single home game at my tailgate.

Ah Hell Yea!!! Man that tatoo looks awesome!!! The artist did a great job man, I'm really happy for you!! I'm putting that pic up on myspace, if you don't mind because I have a Redskin photo album with all the pictures I collect.

What a tribute! You are the definition of a Redskins Fan.

I normally stand alone on Sunday at the local bar as the only Redskins fan. I truly appriciate this site & all of it's members. This is the only place I can go to express my feeling of what it means to be a fan of this great Organization & it's players.

I am just glad I got to see Sean play in person (in SF).

The tat turned out great, JH. I think it's your best 'Skins tattoo (of the ones that I've seen posted), but I wish there hadn't been a reason for you to get it....

Well, this is #18 for me...and before I got it, I told the guy, "The tattoo you are about to do is probably thee most important tattoo on my body....no pressure!"

I've been going to this guy for tattoos #3 - #18 now so he gives me a rediculously good price. This tattoo, for example, only cost me $75.00.

There is no way anyone else would ever get a tattoo of this quality, at this size for that low of a price.
