Clinton Portis will change his his number to #21 in honor of Sean Taylor this has been reported on comcast sportsnet by Chik Hernandez.

Great gesture by CP. Hes my favorite player in the league and that is great respect right there. I hate when people say Portis is a scrub and not a good guy. Portis is great. Awesome Gesture and I wish the Skins well the rest of the season.

I hope so. I love that CP is going to wear it as a tribute to his good friend, but I can't imagine any other Redskin ever wearing it.

I don't think they have any say in the matter. 21 is a perfectly valid number for a RB. I don't think he'll have Taylor's name on the back, so it's not a uniform violation.
