Despite the last int, very impressed with JC. He has a great future for us. On the other hand, Springs, Greg Williams, and Chris Samuels should be embarrassed by their contributions to the game today.

The Defensive Coordinator lost the game for them. Cambell played great. The future is bright for him.

the girls must be feeling pretty lucky right about now.

This loss was all about ST's knee... the inability of the back-up safetys to be supermen... sigh...

Excellent game plan. Excellent game play by Jason. Much to be optimistic about... he is really coming in, and is almost at the point where he can put the team on his back...

Well, the impact of not having Taylor out there was huge.

I'm not sure exactly what the heck happened with the coverage on TO. That was a killer. Stop just one of those plays and we win.

Doesn't really matter how they feel. They got a W and we got a L. That's all that really matters.

Additionally, once again another team made better adjustments than we did at the half.

The Skins let one man (TO) beat them by continuously leaving him wide open. This loss is squarely on GW for sticking with cover 2 when it clearly wasn't working.

Chris, you're quick on the draw...or I'm about a minute behind real game time.

- defense can only gamble part of the time. Miss some db's (especially one big, fast, hard-hitter), miss some depth at LB, and miss a DL man they haven't had since Mann, Butz, Grant, Manley. If they could generate a pass rush without the blitz!

- wish the Redskins had a big WR...what a difference Art Monk would make...maybe the guy shoukd be in the Hall of Fame????

- Campbell still learning. I wish he had run rather than toss that ever-so-close pass on the run that got intercepted. But he'll learn.

Sorry guys. I thought by starting the GameDay thread I could change our luck. I guess I brought some of that Philthy stinck back with me from Fed Ex last week.

Anyway, Oh well. We all know what could have been. This was one we had a shot at winning, but............. well, we've seen it before. But, somehow it is just too bitter to have to keep seeing it over and over. But, we'll be back again next week for some more of this. This team will continue to tear our hearts out, but we did see where our future is. JC on the field making plays, and directing the offense. Now if we could just find out where our D has gone, we could be a very, very good team.

Springs (snip) should be embarrassed

Maybe... OTOH, I imagine that it was easy to get spoiled with safety help like a corner gets from Taylor...

the offense cannot keep kicking field goals. Sire the defense got torched but honestly their hands are tied. They can't gamble cus we are only making three points a posession.

Closer than I thought, but another cowardly call by Gibbs. Why was he having Suisham kick a 50yd. FG on 4 and 1 in the first half? Go for it, Joe!!

The big weakness in the cover 2 is down the middle, and we got roasted there. Taylor makes that cover 2 work...without him, it didn't.

They needed to go for the first down on BOTH 4th and 1's. Like you said, we will not win important games on field goals. This is getting real old.

Our offense actually stepped up when they needed to and that last INT by JC ended an otherwise good (for the Skins) showing. It wasn't the blowout I thought it would be, but still disappointing staying so close and yet coming away with a L.

Was that a cowardly call? Or a courageous demonstration of faith in his defense? Never mind... I already know you want him tossed under the bus.

Here comes Joe. He couldn't be prouder. They fought their guts out, and.........

It's frustrating to see us move the ball so well, get inside the 30, and stall. It really is becoming an obvious issue with strategy.

Ummm... Joe DID let him... and he damn near won, without a lot of help from the D. What game were you watching?

Who cares about fighting their guts out? The name of the game is winning and right now the Skins aren't doing much of that.

cowardly call by Gibbs.

I would have smashed it one more time, but that was not the game.

Turning was:

- Rocky's INT that I swear was a true INT (and without it, Cowboys scored TD)

- Big throws to Owens. Missing someone at safety, I think

- Redskins lack of a player built like TO. They need one small, fast guy on the field, and a big fast guy on the opposite side.

- Combine too-open TO with Dallas swarming Moss and ARE. Bad combination
