I still haven't seen Lloyd look bad.

Lloyd may be terrible. I don't know. On T. V., there's no telling who's getting open or not, but I've never seen Lloyd look bad. In fact, his cuts and moves look great and I've not reason to doubt his hands. Don't give me stuff about him dogging it after that interception-- the replay showed he followed the play even thought he had no chance of bringing down the DB. So, he's immature. So's Randy Moss. It's Joe Gibbs' job to take care of that.

I'd like to see Lloyd get about ten balls tomorrow. Moss won't do well and ARE probably won't either. With the line being battered to the point of bad, we need to start throwing medium range stuff to the big guys, Lloyd and Cooley.

Which part? The fact that no Redskins wide receivers have caught a touchdown pass, or the fact that the football has to be thrown to a player in order to catch a touchdown pass, or the fact that Lloyd is being compared with Randy (Our team scored 52, but I got shut down) Moss ...
I could go on, but why bother?

It was a comment on the pathetic state of education in America, today... not on the pathetic state of the 'skins offense...

Blame it on "No Child Left Behind". Apparently, a few should have been left behind.

Now back to the subject. I can't fairly judge Lloyd. I haven't been to a live game this year to see the entire routes being run. He can't be judged for not catching a TD because no other WR has. Maybe he doesn't practice hard in the eyes of the coaches so therefore sits. At this point we should try something. I just can't make a fair assessment of someone who is only on the field twice a game.

I think Santanna might actually show up for the first time this season tomorrow. It's his old team and he will have something to prove. And if Coles is out, even better!

Not like he was going to do any thing. This gives us an opportunity for Marcdell and the other WR who was released from the pats should show us something.

It is a poser. From his days in SF Lloyd clearly IS a major talent. And while Moss and ARE have played well there's clearly a need and opportunity for a third receiver to be doing a heck of a lot more then Lloyd is. So why is almost nothing going his way? If the staff is so disappointed in his effort/attitude why aren't they cutting him and taking the hit? The only theory I can come up with is they are trying to teach and reach him. They are unhappy with him but haven't given up on him. But you have to think that if we go a second whole season like that they would have to end it in the offseason.

Does anybody have a reliable, unbiased source for the info?

Most of the hooplah that has surrounded Brandon has been just that, but if this latest is true, then he deserves the appropriate punishment... you don't miss team meetings.

And on a side note... JLC's petty bickering with Steinberg is just nauseating. Contrived or not, IMO it just comes across as extremely unprofessional at this stage. Is it supposed to create interest? Value? I just see it as meaning that not even WP's own staff can stomach LaCanfora anymore.

They won't get a chance until Thrash is injured.

In his situation he should be the first one to all meetings and practices and be the last one to leave the field everyday. Maybe he has just given up on being part of this team.

I think so too. On one hand I can't blame his frustration but I wish he could have held on a bit longer.

I mean, who wouldn't be frustrated sitting behind James Thrash's bum tail?

I'm sure he's frustrated, but that's no excuse to miss a team meeting. Especially after the pasting that we took from the Pats last week.

You don't worry about what other people are getting or doing, you worry about your own actions. I don't care if he's behind Stinky Pinky, if he wants to move up the ladder, he needs to do what it takes to impress teh coaches. Obviously, he's not doing that, therefore, he sits. Missing meetings are NOT going to get him up the depth chart......

.....on a side note, I see how he's getting a bad rap. He rarely performs more than mediocre, coupled with missing meetings and giving varying degrees of effort, maybe he SHOULD be number one!!!!
