[quote]The Jets revealed Wednesday that Laveranues Coles has a concussion.
Coles didn't practice at all Wednesday, which is a very bad sign for his chances to play Sunday vs. Washington. The Jets held S Erik Coleman out of one game earlier in the season due to a concussion, and will likely do the same with Coles. Brad Smith might start in his place if Coles can't go.

I'm guessing you mean that he's out for week 9 and not "9 weeks."

I'm guess he would be playing this week if his best buddy Chad hadn't been benched

This article said he is likely to play.
"Former Redskins wide receiver Laveranues Coles, back with the Jets, suffered a concussion in New York's loss to Buffalo last Sunday. Still, Jets Coach Eric Mangini said he expects Coles to play Sunday even though Coles did not practice Wednesday. "

not worried about coles, im only concerned with other teams defenses due to our inability to do anything productive on offense.

They always try to imply that they are 'likely to play' Why would you lay all your cards on the table as early as you can?

The title of this thread, makes it sound like Coles is no longer a WR.

Coles won't play this week. He got rocked last week and there is no need to rush him back on the field @ 1-7. It would be a mistake.
